Welcome to Smogon! Take a moment to read the Introduction to Smogon for a run-down on everything Smogon, and make sure you take some time to read the global rules.
Ok Cagnazzo, Begin with an Body Slam (Paralysis please), then go for a Earthquake, Finish off with an ancientpower. (Oh, a bulky water, my stupid rules, Barbariccia would own you!)
Arcanite recalls his ghostly fiend, but still wears a smile on his face. He releases his next fiend, the deadly Cagnazzo! The fiend emerges from its pokeball with a crash of water erupting from its body. Eoleo is unimpressed by the display and only sees a little turtle perfect for making a delicious soup. He starts by Taunting Cagnazzo through some inappropriate gestures. The fiend falls for the trick hook line and stinker, finding himself unable to use any of his non-attacking moves. However, he still pulls through and launches himself in the air preparing a Body Slam, landing on Eoleo with a thud! Eoleo pushes the turtle off of him and tries to shake off the damage, but finds himself Paralyzed from the impact!
Cognazzo is very happy that he finally ourspeeds someone and proceeds to attack with a Crunch! His teeth sink into his opponent, but Eoleo's think muscles protect him from taking that much damage. The pirate squid responds by setting up a Substitute in order to take any future beatings.
Cognazzo hurls himself forward once again in a Body Slam, but merely bounces off of the substitute that takes all of the damage. Eoleo smirks and unleashes a very powerful Cross Chop! The attack hits directly, resulting in a Critical Hit! Even with Cognazzo's defensive abilities, he still takes quite a beating from the assault, nearly cracking his shell in the process!
The mysterious presence still looms, when on earth is it going to act?
Arghonaut (Eoleo)(M)
5/3/2/4/17
Hp: 58
Energy: 32
Stats/Status: Paralyzed (15%)
Other:17 hp sub
Cagnazzo is now desperate to break his opponent's substitute. He launches himself forward, crashing into the substitute with his bodyslam. However, the substitute still holds with quite a bit of health left. Eoleo decides to just chill in order to gain some energy back.
Cagnazzo summons an ancient power in response. The boulders crash towards Eoleo's substitute, puncturing many holes in the doll. However, the substitute still holds with a sliver of health left. Eoleo seems oblivious to this and tries to create a substitute again. However, the attack ends up failing.
Cagnazzo puts all of his effort into the final attack, launching one last Body Slam at his opponent. Finally, the substitute bursts, exposing Eoleo's true body. Eoleo, however, was waiting for his moment to spring his trap. He launches a powerful Cross Chop, not only hitting his foe, but also resulting in a Critical Hit!
Out of nowhere, the mysterious presence springs its attack. It fires a series of Fireballs down at Eoleo, dealing 10 damage to the squid! Cagnazzo smirks in excitement at his mysterious ally, but Eoleo shakes off the damage and puts up his firsts, ready to fight back.
Cagnazzo:
Body Slam: 8 Damage, 7 Energy
Ancient Power: 5 Damage, 3 Energy
Body Slam: 8 Damage, 7 Energy
Eoleo:
Chill: +12 Energy
Cross Chop: 22 Damage, 6 Energy
Nah, I think it's more biased towards you, you know exactly what order things will happen, and can counterteam accordingly. Tirtouga loses badly to Pirateguy.
Anyway, 18HP Substitute, then Ancient power, then Body Slam.
If I cant do an 18 HP sub cause of new rules (which weren't in effect when we started) I'll have an Iron defence instead of Sub!
Cagnazzo decides to start things off by setting up a nice, juicy substitute. The doll develops from the shadows and acts as a shield for the watery fiend. Eoleo decides to Taunt his opponent, preventing him from using his attacking moves! Cagnazzo falls for it once again and decides to go onto the offense.
Summoning ancient rocks from the ground through his dark powers, Cagnazzo hammers an ancient power at his foe, dealing some minor, but still significant, damage. Eoleo, however, decides to play it safe and merely Recovers off the damage. And with that, he regains pretty much all of the hard work Cagnazzo put into damaging his opponent.
The little fiend decides to end the round by launching one last Body Slam at his foe dealing some decent damage. The turtle's body slams into his opponent, bruising the squid quite a bit. Eoleo fires off his own Cross Chop which hits once more, sending Cagnazzo Flying into a wall.
The mysterious presence in the room fires another barrage of fireballs as Eoleo. This inflicts 10 damage, making him even angrier and eager to end things.
Cagnazzo:
Substitute: -18 HP, 15 Energy
Ancient Power: 5 Damage, 3 Energy
Body Slam: 8 Damage, 7 Energy
Eoleo:
Taunt : 10 Energy
Recover: +20 HP, 13 Energy
Cross Chop: 17 Damage, 6 Energy
Fireball: -10 Damage
Cagnazzo acts first once again and fires off a Body Slam once again. Eoleo seems unconcerned about the attack and merely sits there, Chilling out in order to reserve its energy.
Cagnazzo must really not like being ignored, as he once again summons an ancient power in order so smite his foes. Though the rocks make contact, they don't grant the boosts Cagnazzo wanted and instead do pretty minor damage. However, it did get Eoleo's attention, though that may not be a good thing. The squid fires off a Cross Chop, sending the turtle flying back, or atleast it would if the substitute didn't protect him. The substitute shatters, leaving the fiend open for attacks.
Cagnazzo uses another Body Slam. However, Eoleo doesn't react at all and just Chills. Perhaps hes been hit with that move so often he just doesnt care anymore?
The mysterious presence decides not to attack this round, which is a relief for Eoleo, who has just recovered from his paralysis and is ready to dish out some damage.
Cagnazzo:
Body Slam: 8 Damage, 11 Energy
Ancient Power: 5 Damage, 3 Energy
Body Slam: 8 Damage, 7 Energy
Eoleo:
Taunt : 10 Energy
Chill: +12 Energy
Cross Chop: 17 Damage, 6 Energy
Chill: +12 Energy
The two battlers continue their brawl, eager to ensure victory for their masters. Eoleo, finally rid of the paralysis that tensed his muscles, has gain his previous mobility and speed. This allows him to fire off a Cross Chop at his foe before Cagnazzo has a chance to respond. The attack is so powerful that it results in a Critical Hit! My god, how many of those has he gotten? Cagnazzo fires back a Body Slam, but doesn't get the paralysis he needed.
Eoleo, sick and tired of games, finishes the round off with a Mach Punch, knocking the second fiend out!
Cagnazzo:
Body Slam: 8 Damage, 7 Energy
Eoleo:
Cross Chop: 21 Damage, 6 Energy
Mach Punch: 10 Damage, 2 Energy
Barbariccia, the next of the fiends, comes out to take her comrade's place, eager for battle.
Eoleo tires to Taunt his opponent, but Barbaroccia's ability kicks in before he has a chance. The grass-type fiend manages to Taunt Eoleo before he can use his attack, forcing him to waste his turn!
Barbaroccia tries to take advantage of her free turn by setting up a substitute. Too bad the substitute is too big for the fiend to handle, as it merely dissipates before being fully formed. Eoleo doesn't use the turn any better, as he is stuck trying to chill, but the angery thoughts clouding his mid prevent him from doing so.
Barboccia decides to finally go onto the offence and fires off a Mega Drain, hitting for stabbed super effective damage. Eoleo braces the hit, but fires off his own Ice Punch to return the damage.
Barboccia:
Taunt: 10 Energy
Mega Drain: 9 Damage, 8 Energy
Ref Note: Because I allowed the old rules of substitute last time, I have to stick by the same rules. This means pokemon can't make substitutes greater than 25% of their health.
Barbariccia tries to finish off her foe as quickly as possible, but Eoleo is just too fast. Calling upon all his pirate powers, he puts one final Ice Punch and hammers the cottenball, before succumbing to a Megadrain. Eoleo still goes out strong though, and faints with a smirk on his face.
Barboccia:
Mega Drain: 9 Damage, 4hp healed, 12 Energy
Get a Taunt in before he uses Substitute (Prankster), then go for a Leech Seed, and then a Toxic.
Sorry S_O_S, but:
Ref Note: Because I allowed the old rules of substitute last time, I have to stick by the same rules. This means pokemon can't make substitutes greater than 25% of their health.
The Wizard burst out of nowhere in a spectacular display. He starts to charge his body with electricity, making it clear that he means business.Barbariccia merely rolls her eyes, and immediately Taunts her opponent in order to prevent any non attacking moves. This completely twarts the Wizard's plan, as he finds himself far too angry to set up the substitute he wanted!
Barbariccia lets out a crackling laugh while she summons parasitic seeds from here body to do her dirty work. The Leech Seed latches on to her opponents body, slowly but surely sucking out vital energy. The Wizard is not pleased by this and lets out a mighty Ice Punch! The attack hits directly on target, Freezing the cottonball completely!
Barbariccia tries to escape her icy prison by seeping out toxins in to the air. However, she requires a strong move, not a mere cloud of poison, if she wants any hope of continuing fighting. The Wizard smiles, believing the hax is punishment for not liking his magic earlier. The Elekid summons another Ice Punch, adding a layer of ice onto Barbariccia!
The mysterious presence, seeing that a fiend is in danger, summons a ray of green light onto the creature, healing 10 Hp! Although she is still forzen, Barbariccia still appreciates her wounds being healed a bit.
Barbariccia the Cottonee
Taunt: 10 Energy
Leech Seed: 9 Energy
+3 Hp (Leech Seed)
+3 Hp (Leech Seed)
+10 Hp (Curaga)
The Wizard:
Ice punch: 14 Damage, 6 Energy
-3 Hp (Leech Seed)
Ice punch: 14 Damage, 10 Energy
-3 Hp (Leech Seed)
Ref note: Sorry son of shadoo, I couldn't do your substitute because it wasn't valid. You are only aloud to substitute based on one action your opponent can do, so "encore or taunt" would not be valid.
