http://www.smogon.com/dp/pokemon/lucario On Lucario's Agility set it says: Sword Dance Lucario's popularity and beat all of his common checks and counters such as Gengar, Rotom-A, Gliscor, Dragonite. It also says: If you were using Swords Dance Lucario, even if you have the perfect opportunity to set up, counters such as Dragonite and Gliscor can switch in on the Swords Dance and OHKO Lucario before he has a chance to attack. Any mention of Dragonite being a counter is false. With no investment in Defenses and a neutral nature 80.2% - 94.7% from a +2 Close combat and 71.8% - 84.5% from Extreme speed. Even with a bulkier set Nite is taking 67.1% - 79.3% from a +2 Close Combat, all of these calcs guranteed or at least a high probability to OHKO with rocks and if Luke chose to run Stone Edge and a Jolly nature no variant of Dragonite will win. Therefore any mention of Dragonite countering SD Luke here should be removed.

If you bothered to actually read it you'd notice it says
"Agility Lucario is designed to take advantage of Sword Dance Lucario's popularity and beat all of his common checks and counters"
Albeit Sword Dance should be Swords Dance. I fixed that.

As for Dragonite being a counter... take that to the Subjective changes thread.

Smog #12 tournament coverage: http://www.smogon.com/smog/issue12/tournament_coverage

The lack of Life Orb and the high-powered moves introduced in DP means there aren't many (I'd argue any) Pokémon that can just smash through a well-made team when one monster is weakened, and while DP's addition of Stealth Rock punishes switching out in today's battles, the technique vital to success for any team that isn't just Baton Passing in ADV.

I don't get this sentence. Looks like it's missing an "is" between "technique" and "vital", but I'm not sure.

So to boil this all down, Jaroda and Emboar are probably in metagame limbo until it resolves while Daikenki will struggle mightily to earn a place over its many Water-type alternatives.

This line is repeated twice in the article.

It's pretty hard to kill it if it's already got a Substitute up and is also taking recovery from Leech Seed (and maybe even Leftover if there's no sand or hail about). It also helps those appalling effects.

Should be Leftovers, although wouldn't Brellom be running Toxic Orb? @_@

Also:

It takes away from its defensive attributes but enhances its offensive attributes, making it a dangerous threat, and Mach Punch helps make up for its... disappointing, to say the least... Speed.

I think the correct punctuation should be "its ... disappointing" and "least ... Speed".

No, it was decided that in multi-tiered Pokemon, BL Pokemon would be written with OU in mind and NU Pokemon written with UU in mind. Ton is NU.
And no, it didn't.

Yeah that's what I meant, the sections of the analysis written with UU in mind are titled as NU instead of UU.

It seems as though conventions are being followed so I don't think there's a problem. Just because NU Pokemon have UU Pokemon in their analysis doesn't mean there needs to be a separate UU subheading.

But aren't the subheadings supposed to be the metagame the analysis is for? Nidoqueen and Shiftry are examples of what I mean - they're NU and their UU anaysis subheading is "UU"

idk I'm confused now lol, if it's not an issue then nevermind

In the Metal Burst set...
Taunt and Metal Burst are staples on the set as their combination forces the opposition to attack, which means Bastiodon can use Metal Burst to inflict twice the damage caused by the incoming attack.
Metal Burst does 1.5x damage, not 2x.

And since I'm there, in Optional Changes...
Sets utilizing Metal Sound, Curse, and Rest can be utilized, but their viability is limited.
This is silly. "Sets with ... can be used" would be better. Utilized is probably the most overutilized word in analyses.
