art thread

I am loving the Spheal/Sealeo pic and I really want to see what you do with colour. Oh and I was just like you when I started posting here last month, pencils being my main tool of trade. Give Photoshop a try, you won't regret it!

These drawings are great, I am personally a really big fan of simple pencil/pen and paper drawings! Keep up the awesome work, hopefully you can get a scanner so that you don't lose as much detail when uploading them from your phone. Also, photoshop really is not that necessary. I use GIMP with Gimp Paint Studio, and I feel that it is a very complete program with all the tools necessary to get the job done. It even uses brushes from photoshop, which is really one of the most important things when doing digital drawings. Best of all, GIMP is a free program, although I wouldn't mind getting photoshop...

You my good sir, are a master.
Some epic shizz right there.
Especially the little seal :D

Hey, if you're really looking to use photoshop, I can suggest an alternative that I believe is better than GIMP. www.sumopaint.com/app It's basically the same as photoshop, and it's online. The only thing I find missing for me, is the ALT color picker hotkey.(or any hotkey for that matter....) If you don't use that, it'll be perfect for you. I just thought that might interest you.

Anyways, as the other people said, the sealeo/spheal is my favorite of yours. I suggest trying to add backgrounds more to these though, as I myself made that mistake. Backgrounds are now a bit of a weakness of mine, because I always sorta focused on the subject only. Don't be like me. :P

yayspheres.

I love your dragons. C: Detailing is nice. I can never shade on paper (I have a thing against sharpies/markers/crayons/colored pencils), so I usually use my tablet (used to anyway).

ANYWAY, great job! :>

Hey, your art is really good, I wished you updated it more often. The girl the garden is amazing and I love the effect of the leaves that seem to be blowing away. Also I want to see more of your hilarious White run-through comic.
