Question about Magic Coat:

Gengar uses Hypnosis and it hits
Porygon2 uses Magic Coat

are both of them asleep now?
Porygon2 puts up Magic Coat (Magic Coat has priority, so it'll go first)
Gengar used Hypnosis
It was bounced back by Magic Coat
Gengar goes to sleep, eiher that or the Hypnosis misses Gengar and it's like nothing happened.

How does the item Metronome work? How much does it boost attacks when it was used consecutively? How the Muscle Band work? please help anyone? I'm reposting for the 3rd time

Muscle Band

Raises the damage of physical moves 10%.

Metronome

The power of an attack is increased by 10% on each consecutive use, up to a maximum of +200%. The boosts are lost if the holder uses another attack or switches out.

For critical hits, each stage increase is a 6.25% increase, right?

0 (normal case) = 6.25%
+1 = 12.5%
+2 = 18.75%
+3 = 25%

Is that right? (I can't seem to find it anywhere around here...)

If you're Pokemon who uses Roost is part flying, it eliminates that type.
Only until the end of the turn, so something slow with it won't really encounter that issue. Which makes me wonder WHY people recommend Roost over Heal Order on Vespiquen. What is she going to be outspeeding?

Can you please explain a little more? It doesn't make sense yet. =x

Also, say you get a Sub up with Floatzel against a Weezing, while it WoWs. If Floatzel Baton Passes to an E-Vire, will it get the speed boost from Motor Drive if the Sub is up? Most likely yes, but just making sure.

So, question

1.when i request a stand battle --> it mean item clause, sleep clause and no ubers?

2. in item clause's all pokemon items must be different?
-- someone told me leftovers is 2 in item clause's
-- if anyone can show me link to a thread for rule's for this forum battling it be real great !

A little question about Fast Egg Hatching using AR. Will it have any effect on legitamacy of the Pokemon? It would save me so much time so any help would be much appreciated.

I hear something about Roost eliminating a weakness? Lol, never heard anything like that before. Anyone care to explain?

on the turn roost is used, the pokemon looses its flying type. check out the list, it's always a flying pokemon with roost. so for example, if i was facing a skarm with my tyranitar my focus punch would usually hit it at neutral damage. however, if it uses roost first, it loses its flying type for one turn and only has steel left. therefore, my focus punch hits super effective as fighting > steel. however, this only happens if the 'rooster' roosts before you hit it. so if i used mach punch on it, skarm will take neutral damage.

my own question now. why is tyraniboah 'boah'? what does that name mean?

Lol no iirc Jumpman posted before it had something to do with a player he fought who kept saying boah when something unexpected happens. Not too sure though so don't quote me on this.

Static makes wild Electric types more common. Magnet Pull does the same for Steel types. I have heard there are others that do the same, like Swarm (bug) and Storm Drain (water). Is this true? If so, what other abilities with this affect exist?

I tried Swarm and found that I did encounter many more Scythers and Venomoths than usual.

I have also heard that Rivalry makes Pokemon of the opposite/same gender more common. Which is true?
