Question: When people say don't get my pokes cloned, does that include if you clone it to be a parent, and keep a spare copy, while NOT trading it?(not that the people would ever know, just wondering though)

Is there any formula or requirements for when flinching from King's Rock happens?
Cause the BT has an Aerocatyl with King's Rock, ThunderFang, Iron Head, and I know nintendo would only make that set if Kings rock effected flinch rate on those moves

They mean don't clone it to create multiple EV spreads and what not. So yeah, cloning to create a parent is probably not acceptable either.

i need some help with my action replay re-battle codes. i used the arceus one as ive caught him already and i also use the run through anything and 100% capture rate one. i get to spear pillar but before i go there i hold l and r to activate the code, but when i go to spear pillar, the stairs aren't there anymore, and when i try to play my azure flute it says that is is meaningless to play it. so what do i do as my re-batgtle dialga one works fine?

still need help on this

Asked this before but no answer... What is the point of the species clause, and why is it in the 'Standard rules'? Surely it is a disadvantage to have 2 of the same pokemon on your team, since if theres a counter to one then you have 2 pokes screwed over?

There was actually a discussion about this a while ago. Too bad searching is down.

The impression I got was that it was an old clause from RBY that just got carried over across the generations.

If I give a Pokemon that has Pokerus a Protein, does it still gain 10 Atk EVs?
Yes.

Partly grandfathered, partly to promote diversity. I sure as hell wouldn't want to have to deal with 2x 'chomps, or 2x salamences staring at me. It's not [necessarily] a disadvantage to have multiples of the same pokemon. A fair number of pokemon can hit from both sides of the spectrum so a "counter" to one set can be destroyed by the other.

1 TTar and 5 Garchomps is the best reason I can give for it existing.

One last EV question:

I have a Pokemon with Pokerus holding a Power Bracer.
Now, would the number of Atk EVs it gets be 2(a + 4) or 2a + 4, where a is the Atk EVs the wild Pokemon gave. (a would be 2 if I beat a wild Gyarados, since it gives 2 Atk EVs.)

I talked to 30 people underground (not the hikers), now how do I make Spiritomb appear?

I keep getting the message:
"It's the Hallowed Tower. There is some sort of presence...It appears ready to emerge!"

I asked this in the Ever Grande City thread, but more people look at this one, so:

How (if possible) can you breed both Drill Peck and Whirlwind onto a Skarmory in Emerald?

I believe you can't do that on Emerald so you would have to settle for Roar instead.
