You'd be breaking Sleep Clause, since you'e using Yawn with the intention of putting a second Pokemon of the opponent's to sleep.I have a question about the sleep clause in Standard competition and the move Yawn.
Pokemon A uses Yawn on Pokemon B, then the next turn for whatever reason Pokemon B stays in and falls asleep. Pokemon B is then switched out for Pokemon C while still asleep. Does this prevent me from using the move Yawn on Pokemon C because it falls under the Sleep Clause? Or is it a valid move because Pokemon B was left in by choice and Pokemon C will still have the choice to switch out to avoid sleep?
Thanks!
