If you intent to Baton Pass after SDing then why not put the rest of the EVs in HP and defense? 160 Attack EVs looks like a random number, nowhere in the analysis it is mentioned what can you accomplish with those EVs. I guess it lets you OHKO or 2HKO certain pokemon but I don't have an idea of which ones.

My best guess would be that because it gives leafeon 304 hp, it will survive 3 seismic tosses or night shades plus giving it a lefties number. It's a pretty old entry so what you change it to probably won't matter too much (ie. having leafeon sweep himself or more bulky). But Blissey almost always carries either icebeam or flamethrower so it wouldn't really work...it's probably more of the person liking their HP to be over 300...
 
@PyroDudeX: then I doubt it has anything to do with the deoxys. Maybe the WFC is being too laggy or the person you are trading with has a bad connection. I have had problems when trading with people in another countries/continents but trying again solves the problem eventually.

I have some quick breeding questions.

I'm about to breed Ben's Ditto with a Schroomish, but I think I have a female Schroomish with a 31 in Speed as well and it's Adamant too.

So which one do I put the Everstone onto? It has Poison Heal too but I don't think that matters?
 
Cresselia's info is set the moment you 'click' on her and see her picture.

Therefore, save right in front of her, activate her, go find her, catch her, check stats, repeat if necessary.

A YouTube channel and something to record battles with. I use my digital camera, and for PBR, I use a VHS tape actually. Quality's crap on that though.

Also to make them easier to watch, I upload mine into Windows Movie Maker and make them go at double speed to cut the time in half (since my battles can go over the 10 minute mark).

Then YouTube > Upload > Battle title (I put date as well if available) > Battle description > Category > loads of Tags > Upload Video.

You may need to "convert" it with WMM anyway; I tried a direct upload using a MOV file from my camera, and 3 days later it still didn't finish processing and it was only 30 seconds long.

And you'll also need people to battle as well, lol.

I need to ask 2 more questions:

Since I'm breeding Shroomish, which target IV characteristic matters most? "Alert to Sounds" or "Likes to thrash about"?
I plan to use the Spore Punch set (*drool*), so which matters more? Max Speed IV or Max Attack? I figure it'd be best to go with "likes to thrash about", but most of my x/31/x/x/x/31 Pokemon say "Alert to sounds"..

I wish it could be as simple as hatch them all then pick the best one (which I am), but I plan to SR for a shiny one, since everyone seems to like shiny Breloom, and I want a deadly ass-kicker shiny for once.

I can save before taking the egg, hatch the egg, and if it's shiny, I can SR for possible good IVs, right? Just want to be sure..
 
I'm looking for the thread where a defensive combo of Jirachi and Togekiss were discussed. I've read it some time ago, but I can't find it anymore. Someone knows what I mean or where it is?
 
Can someone please explain to me how the Battle Recorder works...

Is the battle sent to Nintendo's servers and stored there or does it go on your cart or something. I don't have Platinum, can I watch the battles? that sort of thing.

And does anyone know the UK release date of Platinum, too lazy to look it up...
 
Have the Member's Card and Oak's Letter for Darkrai and Shaymin been released by Nintendo yet?

There was a Darkrai event on both sides of the Atlantic recently and I'm sure there's been a Shaymin event I can't remember when it was.

I have conflicting reports then..

I might as well just take as many eggs as I can then and just hatch them all instead of just one at a time..

It's what I did with my Vulpix the first time, after all. It doesn't really matter but I'm glad you caught me before I SRed a shiny egg and possibly lost it?

AhrenElessedil is misinformed I've personally tested it myself. The PID will remain the same when SRing an egg meaning if it is shiny then it will remain shiny (this includes class or ability and gender). IVs however just like any other normal egg you've SR'd will continue to keep changing meaning you can actually SR on a shiny egg in hopes of finding a good IV spread.

No. Darkrai was given out by Toys R Us. The man inside the PokeMart would give it to you. And as far as I know, there hasn't been a Shaymin event otherwise I would have it. I fear that it will be given out in the same manner, and that the key items will never be released outside Japan.

This is what I thought to begin with as I was told during the Egg Chain fiasco. I'll continue to save before obtaining each egg.
