Blak - I think it updates itself automatically...do you SR maybe? I could be wrong but that might be meaning wifi battles in the battle tower?

ShinyElite - um..theres a few, notably Ampharos and Camerupt..basically any slow high special Attack Pokemon. TTar can use it to I think.

What IV does your Azelf have in speed? As you implied you can beat Scarf Gengar your IV must be 22 or more IIRC; if it's a 31 or a 30 then you might as well max it to hit the speed tie or beat +1 base 100's, notably Salamence. Otherwise, you might as well just drop it to 320 to beat +1 Modest Gengar, unless you're really scared of Choice Scarf Purugly :p (which, incidentally, you need to hit 324 to beat) If you want to use Azelf in uber play as well as OU, then obviously you'll want it to hit 334.

It'll be OU only, the Speed is 28 and since thats a tad low Im figuring that only a scarf set is viable for it (though feel free to point out something different)

I think i might as well just try and outspeed as much as I can (Scarfd Neutral Gengar) since the defense is really low (2) so i dont want it to take very many hits..
 
ok i just beat the steel gym in platinum, when i went outside my rival found me and talked then went to the library. I walked up there and saw him standing infront of the door. I tried talking to him but he wont let me in! what the fuck, am i missing something i've gotten all 6 badges so far, is there an HM you have to get first or some keyitem before he lets you in?

Mmm, good deal. I might try breeding a Quiet Numel/Camerupt on my Emerald then. =)
For a Trick Room team lol. I have a bunch of slowass Pokemon.

You have to travel to Iron Island and talk to Riley, he will give you an HM and enter the cave where he was in D/P. After that your rival will let you pass and you can leave Riley's quest for later if you want.

Yes, they exist since the third generation so LeafGreen, FireRed and Emerald have them too. All those games are compatible between themselves so it is kind of obvious.
In the first and second generation it was called Stat Experience or something like that and they functioned a little different.

Since WORRY SEED changes the target's ability to Insomnia, does it work on Slow Start (Regigigas) and will it take away the stat reductions after it's used?

I know Worry Seed does NOT work on Truant (Slaking) and Multitype (Arceus).

Contrary to the in game description, no attack actually changes an ability. Magnet Rise just creates a Ground immunity and Worry Seed just causes Sleep immunity.

Worry Seed is basically worse than Safeguard in Doubles.

What are the best Kingdra counters in the game for the DoubleDance set and the DD set?

atm I'm thinking Vaporeon, Milotic and Empoleon, but only Empoleon seem effective and I can't easily revenge kill either as Kingdra is faster than my scarfers in rain.
