If Drifblim (or any Pokemon who somehow gets ahold of Unburden) uses the item/Natural Gift/Fling and gets the Unburden Speed boost, is the boost lost if Drifblim gains a new item through an opponent's Trick?

If the Speed is kept, what happens if the Pokemon uses the new item/Natural Gift/Fling again? Nothing, an "overwrite" of the previous Unburden for simply double Speed, or quadruple Speed?

I personally like Bellossom. Thanks to Chlorophyll, she can actually hit a decent speed and that opens various options. She can SubSeed effectively thanks to the speed, or go for Double Status to cripple a good portion of the opponents team. Her attacking stats aren't too bad either if you opt for offense. A good canidate for NU sunny day. I can't wait for NU to actually be established just so I can use Bellossom without much consequence.

Cherrim isn't outside of doubles sadly =/

EDIT: As for Rain Dance, you should give it a shot, though I'm not too familiar with NU pokemon to know who would use Rain effectively outside of Phione.

Apparently not according to wikipedia:
...The second generation Game Link cable cannot be used to link Game Boy Advance games, and the third generation Game Link Cable cannot be used to link Game Boy or Game Boy Color games.

Still waiting for an answer to this question. I also have another, unrelated question.

Is there a Pokemon not called Smeargle that can pull off a set similar to the Pure BP Gliscor (Agility / SD / BP / Taunt*not necessary*), but passes SAtk boosts instead? The only one I know that can learn Agility / BP / SAtk-booster is Ambipom, but it doesn't have the defenses nor resistances to pull off something like that...

I was planning on SRing Uxie starting tonight. I went to Lake Acuity, but for some reason I can't Surf on the water to get to the cave... The water looks a little low (not quite at the level you walk on) but it's still visible. I looked at Verity too and the water is the same there. I've beaten the E4, opened Snowpoint Temple, talked to Rowan/Dawn and been to the Fight Island.... Anyone know what to do to get this to work?

Yup, my Mew had Surf and I was able to surf on a pond in Twinleaf Town... Really would like to get help for this if anyone knows what's up. I'll check back tomorrow.

once the log is on the warmachine and you have edited it to your liking, copy it. then come to smogon, log in, start a new thread, and paste the log there.

I'm trying to get my Smeargle to learn confuse ray but I can't.

My Smeargle uses Sketch then its fails then my Gengar uses Confuse Ray.

Is it because sketch is normal and Gengar is a ghost?

sounds like your Smeargle is somehow faster than your Gengar.

give your Smeargle a Lagging Tail and try again.

Erazor, Haku means between two 2nd gen games, not from 2nd to 3rd.

>__>;

If that link cable thing is true (which it may very well be; I've tried it before and I thought I just had a bad link cable), you'll probably have to grab 2 gameboys and do it old-school.

the only pokes that can use agility+baton pass+nasty plot/tail glow are plusle minun ambipom and mew, of theses ambipom and mew can learn taunt

also ambipom is not as bad as you might think, his defenses may be less than great but with screen support and heavy investment, he can probably avoid the 2ko from most neutral hits and he only has one weakness

You may have to talk to Rowan; I think I had the same problem trying to play through Platinum in Japanese.

Hmmm... Unfortunate, but I suppose Ambipom will have to do then, since I plan on using this in OU. Thanks very much. :)

Another question (chock full of them today, lol): Where does one obtain a U-Turn TM (I think it's TM 86, but I'm not positive) in-game?
