I heard/saw that somewhere ingame there was a way to see the number of Pokemon you have hatched from eggs.

Where is that?

If it's anywhere, it'll be on the top floor for the Jubilife TV station. There's records up there.

What is a good EV spread and moveset for a Rain Dancing Crobat? The guide to Rain teams mentions Crobat as a good lead, but the analysis only has it under "Other Options". I should probably put a lot into Defense, because Crobat's typing benefits most from resistance to Bug (Megahorn), Fighting, and Ground (except while Roosting). However, I don't know specifically how much EVs to put into each stat.

Rain Dance is a no-brainer, Roost should help to recover its health if it needs to replenish rain, Taunt can shut down Stealth Rock leads, and U-Turn provides a switch with a small amount of damage. It's a shame it suffers from the "4-moveslot syndrome", because I wouldn't mind teaching it Brave Bird. . .

Max Speed, Max HP (or split between HP and Defense with a 1 : 1.05 ratio). Jolly. Damp Rock or Leftovers. This is assuming you use that moveset.

What would happen if you were in a 2vs2 battle and used magic coat on a dark void??
lets say it played out something like this:
opponent: bronzong & smeargle
you: something slow and something fast... lets say; sableye and lopunny

lopunny uses magic coat
then smeargle uses dark void (and lets say it would hit both of you)

now lopunny is faster, so void hits it 1st. Does it then, reflect it back at both opponents?? or does it reflect back at smeargle then hit your sableye?

Ok, I know it bounces back to Smeargle, putting him to sleep but not his partner (or yours). However, I don't know if it's possible for Dark Void to hit Sableye before being reflected back by Lopunny (for all I know Magic Coat covers the whole team).

Why do the mods here delete random posts without letting the respective posters know?

I can understand if someone would post a link to a XXX site or something similar, but you moderators seem to delete whatever posts you like to delete. I recall when I replied to the Deoxys-D discussion thread, I said I wanted a test since I want as many Pokémon as possible to be allowed. What was wrong with that post? It got deleted a day or two later...

Will you at least let the posters know when you delete the posts?

And I wouldn't be surprised if THIS post got deleted. I'm asking a simple question, but you guys just love to delete whatever posts you want to don't you?

EDIT: I'm not trying to insult anyone, I hope I don't sound too harsh or anything, I just want to know why.

I already told you the answer? We don't have time to PM every user about their deleted posts. It's pretty easy to figure out if we deleted it or not. You post, the post disappears. It's as simple as that. Posts get deleted if a moderator feels they derail the thread, don't contribute anything, are spam, and / or just ridiculously stupid.

Let it go, seriously.

This, I feel, is a very important point to emphasize. I don't mind discussing the pros and cons of a secret requirement, for instance, but we can't allow it to clog up an important thread discussing Latios. Especially in the case of extended person-to-person conversations, it can usually be taken to PM.

You did?

But I get it now: You delete posts if they don't contribute/aren't useful/are stupid. And you don't have time to PM every user about their deleted posts.

You guys are too serious imo, but you need to be it I guess.

I won't bring this subject up anymore, sorry for wasting your time (but I just had to know, I've always wondered why my posts keep getting deleted haha).

What is Metang@ ?

Seriously.

I know its a popular Smogon joke, but I've searched through the Thread Cryonics and I've yet to find a satisfactory answer. What does it mean and who started it?

What can I do?!

So after thorough analysis of what actual competitive play is like in this game, rather than the customary "make a team with 12 types" I've decided to make my own competitive team. I'm stuck, however. It seems as though I've made this decision too late, as I have already caught every legendary pokemon in the game, along with every legendary in Fire Red. I've checked all of their IVs and let me tell you- they're terrible. an average of 10-12 per stat at best (although Azelf has 30 def).

What would you advise me to do? Borrow someone else's game, and wait before catching the legendaries, adding a significant amount of time to the already strenuous team building process? Use the legendaries I have, regardless of inferior stats and neutral natures? Or just ignore legendaries and create a team without them (Azelf and Zapdos in particular)?

PS. If this is in the wrong forum I apologize, as many of you can tell I'm new to the boards, so if I'm breaking a rule, please move this thread to the 'correct' location.

The right answer is don't use legendaries. Sure, not having access to them (especially Heatran) may hamper you a little bit, but there are other pokemon you can use.

You can also play UU if you like.

breed some good pokemon then trade them to get the legends you need, or restart your games, or just play on shoddy

not really a big problem IMO

id just restart, or wait for platinum.

Okay, another simple question (or so I hope). My Shoddybattle does not work, I put in the shoddybattle.smogon.com thing with the password 50000. I imput my log in details, however the log-in button itself does nothing. It presses in as if it were being pushed correctly, but has no real effect. It simply stays on that same page, asking for my log-in details (which are still imputted). Anyone have any idea as to what is happening?

This happened to me once, but i re-installed Shoddy and it began working. Maybe that can help, if not, try to go to Shoddy's website and ask there, they will help you more than me xD

Usually what I do is remember where the patches shook, then choose a pathway that doesn't include you walking in the patch line where patches shook then go up and down vertically, or left and right horizontally.

dachickens: Make sure you don't go too far away from the patches. If you do, that'll break your chain as well. I tend to go only five patches away in a single direction from the point of where I last reset or caught/killed a Pokemon.
