Blazevoir-It depends on what your team needs. If you need another physical sweeper, use garchomp. If you need a special sweeper, use mence.

If my pokemon uses the move Rest, will I be able to use the move Wake-up Slap while my pokemon is asleep? then wake up in my next turn (wake up in 1 turn instead of 2)? THANKS!

I don't see any reason why that wouldn't work, but using a 120BP attack on pokemon may not be such a good idea, especially if he's a rest user and needs to survive.

My question: Generally, how effective would a team be that is based off toxic spikes? I know flyers, levitators, and steels resist, and poisons absorb the move (although the funny thing is that both of the common poison types, weezing and gengar, bypass it with levitate)

If im in a double battle, one of my pokemon uses thunder, but my other pokemon has the abilitiy Lightning Rod...does the Lightning Rod pokemon take the hit, even if its from its' partner?

No.

Is it possible to get a Larvitar with both Pursuit and Dragon Dance?
If so, how?

I don't think so.

Answer 2: Rain 1/2's the damage of fire attacks, and boots the accuracy of thunder to 100% It ups water type moves by 10% I think.

I tihnk it's 50%.

What pokemon is most deserving of my single Grass Knot TM? I was planning to teach it to my Infenape, but I might be kicking myself later when I get some kind of brain spark that lets me make an uuber Grasceus or something.

Okay, I have a somewhat complicated breeding question.

I have a Male Honchkrow with the following moves wanted for passing down: Drillpeck and Roost (through TM). Now, I have a few eggs of an Altaria(M)+Murkrow(F), which all have Perish Song as an egg move. I would like to get a Murkrow with Drill Peck, Roost, and Perish Song... How the HELL would I do that? I thought I had it easy, until I remembered females cant pass on egg moves. And the altaria is a male, so I can't just breed it with the Honchkrow. AND... Altaria's cant learn Drill Peck as an egg move. -_- I'm lost.

During the Clefairy bonus mode at the slots in Veilstone, there are three types of Clefairy that can appear in the touch screen. One is sorta a sketchy and undetailed Clefairy, one is a normal Clefairy, and one is a normal Clefairy, except with greenish ears. Can anyone explain what's going on?

ok. so if i want to get a magikarp to level 20 to EV train it, can i stick it in the daycare until it gets to level 20, but without giving it EVs?

Whats the breeding path for Eevee to get Wish?

Togetic(kiss) with Wish->Skitty or Pikachu->Eevee is the path I'm taking.

EDIT: regarding Manaphy eggs, are the stats/nature fixed when you get it like with regular Pokemon eggs, or will resetting lead to different results?

I gave my Magikarp 100 Atk EVs through proteins. then i put it in the daycare until it got to level 19. i started EV trainign it again, and every time it has leveld up, (now gyarados) its Atk stat only goes up by 4. It has 29/31/31/x/31/31 btw. why? is this normal when battling high level pokemon and switching in an out?
