Why do my ditto's hate breeding with my metagross? No parently link or anything.
If two Pokemon have the same trainer ID and are not of the same trainer then they will lay eggs more slowly than if the trainer IDs were different or if the Pokemon were the same species. Just be patient! The eggs will come.

do you mean species for the second trainer?

[8:10pm] joshe joined the chat room.
[8:10pm] joshe was granted voice by Porygon2.
[8:10pm] Dachickens: since it rolled over to 33 Atk

Which two Pokemon would go well with my team of Dragon Dance Gryrados, Swords Dance Outrage Earthquake Garchomp, Sash Gengar, Allakhazam? Thanks.

Uh....Garchomp is uber, and the rest of your team is Ou...so either make a better uber team, or use a Garchompless OU team. If you must though, run a Skarm Bliss >_>

Q: If your pokemon...

has flawless IV's, do natures really matter? i.e. Scizor is recommended to have an Adamant nature, but if he is a flawless modest, whats the difference? Thanks

If you're in a competitive environment it's best to have crappy iv's but a beneficial nature. Natures can boost you stats by 10% or decrease them by 10%. Iv's can lower your stats up to 31 points, so in this case that's a lot more beneficial than having a modest nature. Scizor's max attack is 394. 10% of that would be 39, which means you lose 39 points. A 0 IV in attack would mean you lose 31 Attack points, which is less than 39....so yeah!

Ok, thanks. It seems when I am Iv breeding I end up with every nature but the one recommended. Thanks again

Since it isn't listed in either the move or ability description, I thought I'd ask: if the sun is shining, will a Pokemon with Leaf Guard be poisoned by Toxic Spikes upon switching in?

Zoom Lens : Boosts accuracy (20%) if the holder moves after the target.

Does the bonus apply if :

- The target switches
- The target uses Focus Punch
- The target uses a - priority move, but is faster than my Pokemon
- The target misses its attack

Help would be appreciated :)

Hello!

I've got a question!

I thought I was Ev'ing my Staryu correctly, but then I saw that I didn't give it PokeVirus =/.
I gave it PokéVirus now and it already has 126 EV in Special Attack and 90 EV in Speed.

I want Staryu to have 252 in Special Attack and 252 in Speed and 4 in HP.

How can I solve this =/

@The Lost One: No it wont be posioned.

@Lizard: Just continue eving with pokerus, I don't see your problem.

just wondering is it possible to get a latios from emerald with these IVs??
HP/Atk/Def/SpA/SpD/Spe
29/4/20/31/25/31

Thanks for any help

I'm thinking of getting Pokemon Channel for Jirachi. My question is, can you get a lot of them with different natures/IVs? Or can you only get 1 with the same nature/iVs? thanks in advance!

One per R/S file, and its IVs etc are random. The bad bit is that unlike the bonus disc one, you need to beat the Elite 4 before you can get a Channel Jirachi.

What if I have 2 memory cards? Will one game receive 2 jirachis? Also, I'm getting one on Ebay soon.:naughty:
Nope. It's like it checks if a Jirachi's been obtained, and if so it won't give any more to that file. The amount of Channel files won't make any difference. So you'll have to start a new game, finish the story, pick up a Jirachi, send it to another game if it's good and then delete the file and start all over again.

Oh. Damn. That'll be a lot of work for a Jirachi. I hope I get a decent one without too many resets.

First of all you should use vitamins to help EV train, makes life simpler.
Secondly, use the corresponding berries to lower the EVs accumulated (tamato for speed, Hondew for SpA if memory served me right).

In the case of the special attack, giving the Staryu one Hondew berry will lower the SpA Ev to 100, and then any berries given to that stats after 100 will lower the EV by 10.
