I plan on using the flinch haxing Togekiss mentioned in the Analysis, but the EV spread isn't clear. They just mention to max out his HP, but don't give many other indications. They say you can just boost his Sp Atk with Nasty Plot, so EVs aren't needed, but the one I plan on using won't have Nasty Plot, so should I invest EVs into Sp Atk? Or should I still focus on HP, Def and Sp Def, and if so, what proportions? Max HP, then split evenly, or emphasis on Sp Def, or what?

Thanks in advance

Ah thanks for the quick answer. I'll stick with Close Combat then over Superpower. Anyway, just reposting my other question about a Togekiss EV spread.

2 friends of mine are debating over Avalanche...

1 suggesting that Avalanche always goes last unless the foe's using lower speed priority move.

Other 1 disagree claiming Avalanche does not make a pokemon goes last like Focus Punch or Revenge.

They're asking my opinion and I'm suggesting to get an expert help from smogon.

Bolded the correct one.

I think he meant to Guarantee an OHKO, not just have a shot at it.
With 384 HP/236 SDef:
(((((2+(100*2/5))*120*260)/236)/50)+2)*1*(85/100)*1*2*2=384
260 here is Koffing's minimum SAtk for guaranteed OHKO with Thunder.

Just so you know, you CAN'T guarantee an OHKO with a neutral nature. You NEED +SpAtk, even with a perfect 31 IV (259 max Spatk with neutral nature)

With 20 IVs in Spatk, I think 160 EVs will get Weezing 260 SpAtk, guaranteeing an OHKO with Thunder on Gyarados.

Is it worth sacrificing so much Defense for that? Maybe I should just go for a 2HKO with Thunderbolt. . .

Let's assume that a pokemon is sleeping and have sleep talk and Last resort in his moveset.
Could the Last Resort be "sleep talked" ?

Edit : Another question : When you use Natural Gift , does the berry disappear ?

Yes, the berry disappears. If not, you would see it in every other physical moveset. :)

It can be sleep talked but if you haven't used every other move first it won't work and you'll have wasted a turn.

Lopunny @ Lagging Tail / Iron Orb / Flame Orb
Jolly (+Spd, -SpAtk)
Klutz
252 HP, then Atk and Spd (maybe 6 / 252 or 26 / 232?)
- Healing Wish
- Switcheroo
- Ice Punch
- Return / Sky Uppercut

Could received passed SDs (if necessary) for added Atk. Lagging Tail over Iron Orb because no one on my team has Ground attacks (uh-oh?), and Switcheroo to crush sweepers. Healing Wish to help the team, especially late game. Ice Punch for coverage; still debating Return or Sky Uppercut (hi Weavile). Any and all help is appreciated, ESPECIALLY with EVs. Thanks!

OK heres one i have. I going to EV train several pokemon and some of them need EVs in the same stat so can i do the following

Firstly i EV train on RSE then transfer to DP cos its easier

Right i am doing the following for example

Blissey - 200 HP
Metagross - 88 HP
Electabuzz - 88 HP
Skarmory - 252 HP

So if i attach EXP Shares to these 4 pokes then go beat whismurs that give 1 HP EV each will all 4 gain an EV point.

And when say i have beaten 88 whismurs and remove the EXP Shares from Metagross and Electabuzz will they stop gaining EVs and the other two continue until i remove there EXP Shares.

is there a DP UU/NU list yet? can someone give me a link?

This was asked earlier...

This is more for the purpose of me finding out which pokemon exactly are labeled as UU. Thanks for the help and I apologize if this is somewhere easy to find that I have overlooked.

Tiers haven't been established yet, which is why some people have sigs with "Use whatever you want in early D/P, etc, etc."

Does the healing from Healing Wish / Lunar Dance come before or after Toxic Spikes take effect?
I do believe the healing from them come after toxic spikes/spikes/SR. Funny though, if you switch in something after Lunar Dance and it dies from SR before the Lunar Dance/Healing Wish effect kicks in, the next one you bring in gets the effect.
