So you're saying I should delete my WFC settings AND delete my saved games on both Ranger and Diamond?

What if I don't want to send it to Diamond again? If I chose to send it to a different game, I'm sure that I could keep my Diamond file...
I asked this a while ago.

No, no, you don't need to erase the Diamond file to change the FC. I just suggested to erase the Ranger save, because you already had sent the Egg to Diamond. But ihcati just said it's only one Manaphy per cart, so, you would need to erase not the save in Pokémon Ranger, but maybe some kind of Friend Code, something that registers the Ranger on Nintendo WFC. However, Ranger doesn't have anything related (right?), so my idea fails and you really only have one Egg per cart. Oh well.

No. Besides, it's not Ditto's partner that should hold the Everstone, but the Ditto.

I'm hesitating to make up my mind. I am going to be using a Politoed and it'll be going all special so it'll also be having a minus attack nature. I came up with the moveset already and I was wondering what some other people though of it.

Politoed
Bold, Calm, Modest, or Timid nature
Surf/Hydro Pump, Focus Blast, Psychic, Ice Beam

Any tips and corrections are both welcome. Thanks in advance.

I don't know if this has been asked yet, but it's about characteristics. If you have a perfect IV of say, Att and HP, would it say Often dozes off or Likes to thrash about? Is it random, or is it the order of stats (HP is first, Attack is second, Speed last etc.)

Would this work for wall Bronzong?

Sassy // 252 HP / 158 Sp Def / 100 Def or Sp Att
-Hypnosis
-Psychic
-Grass Knot/Flash Cannon
-Calm Mind

Or should I stick with a more usual

Sassy // 252 HP / 158 Sp Def / 100 Def or Att
-Hypnosis
-Gyro Ball
-EQ
-Stealth Rock/Light Screen

Opinions?

It's random.

Anyone have an idea?

You really should be asking that of people in the wifi-threads. EVERYTHING involving this sort of thing is situational. It's like asking how valuable a piece of andoullie sausage is... in certain situations, it's blatantly there and irrelevant (those who have already established pokes with high IVs) and then, the same sausage would be almost priceless if you were starving to death (those who don't yet have any well-IV'd pokemon/newbies.)

You can't blatantly ask the value of something, because everyone sees it as being different. For example, I wouldn't offer you a thing for it, but somebody else might really love it/want it/need it, and give you the TM for explosion/stealth-rock/a starter or something.

Tauros can't learn egg moves. You just breed hitmons with ditto for their egg moves. For Volbeat, illumise has a 50% chance of spawning Volbeat, so try your luck there.

IIRC, illumise eggs have a possibility of hatching into volbeat. I'm not sure about tauros.
For the hitmons, all of their egg moves are learned by one of the evolutions except for helping hand, which tyrogue learns.

My question: How much special attack does electivire need to ensure an OHKO on a standard skarmory (max HP, no special defense)? The EV spreads I've seen give electivire 246 special attack, but the calcs I ran said it only needs 237, which is 36 fewer EV's. Confirmation please?

So why do people give electivire the extra 36 EV's?
Also, does anyone know the % chance of OHKO'ing skarmory with only 236 special attack?
236 would only require 40 EV's, which would let you put another 40 into speed (getting it up to 280), which lets you outspeed base 90's with max speed, and if you get the boost, a first turn ninjask.
