On Electivire's D/P analysis, why Cross Chop over Brick Break? Any specific reason to give up the 100% acc?

Cross Chop has higher base power, and generally hits stuff harder, which is why it is generally superior to Brick Break, which doesn't do as much damage

What EVs should be used on Cressilia. I am planning on a stalking set w/ice beam, and probably twave. Its main goal will be to wall physical fighting attacks.

Thanks.

I need some help deciding on the last member of my team (I don't think that this should go in RMT, but if I'm wrong, tell me). I was told I need a Special Wall. Any help?

Breloom (Spore Puncher)
Gliscor (Physical Wall)
Drapion (Critical Abuser/Spiker)
Magnezone (Special Sweeper)
Dusknoir (Physical Sweeper)

is aerial ace a decent replacement for brave bird on swellow? (just realized it doesnt learn bravebird by lvl up ><, wasted tms and ev training)

Does Hypnonsis affect dark type pokemon?

If a pokemon can learn both Grass Knot and Energy Ball and needs a grass move in it's moveset, which attack is overall better for it?

In EV training, what goes first: One of the Power Items or Pokerus?

Let's say I battle a Magikarp (1 Speed EV)
My Pokémon has Pokerus and a Power Anklet.

What is the right EV calculation?

1. 1 x 2 + 5 = 7 EV's for 1 Magikarp

2. 1 + 5 x 2 = 12 EV's for 1 Magikarp

They give plus four. And it's (1 + 4) x 2.

Good old Blissey? Can usually pull you out of a tight spot.

OK, how do you get Aqua Jet and Superpower on Azumarill. This quote from the analysis confuses me.

If you use Superpower, you are locked into Double-Edge and Aqua Jet. If you use Aqua Jet, you are locked into Double-Edge and Focus Punch

It kinda contradicts itself...

@Dynasty Warrior

Let's say you want both cross chop and ice punch on electivire. He's in humanshape egg group. There's no pokemon in that group who learns both naturally. So, you need to find a pokemon who can learn Cross Chop/Ice Punch by level up and can get the other move by breeding. In case of Electivire, this is machop. Then, you search for pokemon who can learn the second move naturally. In case of electivire, this is Hitmonchan. So, you level up machop and hitmonchan so machop knows cross chop and hitmonchan knows ice punch, breed so you get machop with ice punch and cross chop, then breed it again with electabuzz/electivire, and get Elekid knowing both ice punch and cross chop.

[SET]
name: Support
move 1: U-Turn
move 2: Secret Power/Thief
move 3: Light Screen
move 4: Roost
item: Leftovers/None

ability: Swarm
nature: Impish
EVs: 184hp/176def/148spd

I want to use a set similar to this on my Scizor, but I don't want Speed, since I want a slow U-Turner. What should I put those 148 EVs into to replace Speed?

I don't know if this is a simple question but this is an Azelf i SRed for.

Azelf - #482 (Timid)
HP: 16 - 17
Att: 28 - 29
Def: 26 - 27
SpA: 28 - 29
SpD: 30 - 31
Speed: 30 - 31

Alert to Sounds.

I'm going for the Nasty Plot Sweeper but it's HP isn't really high. Should i go with the standard 36 HP / 220 Spd / 252 SpAtk or something else?

name: Flinch
move 1: Body Slam / Thunder Wave
move 2: Air Slash
move 3: Aura Sphere / Grass Knot
move 4: Wish / Roost
ability: Serene Grace
nature: Calm / Modest
item: Leftovers / Metronome

What's a good EV spread for this Togekiss set? I read the EV section and it said to max Hp and that I won't need that much Special Attack EVs since I have Nasty Plot, but there's no Nasty Plot on this set. Can someone help with the EV spread?

What's the best way to check the IV's of a pokemon from egg, besides IV battles and Rare Candying it? Cause i've got a Timid Manaphy and want to get good IV's for it, but haven't got any rare candies (Lost my Emerald ;/) and my DS doesn't work well with my router (I need to switch from WEP to WPA).

Check the Level 5 stats by sticking in the Daycare, and dump it if it doesn't match those initial requirements (see the Breeding Guide for those stats). If it passes the Level 5 test, check again at another Level (I use 13), and then keep updating the stats for consecutive levels on MetalKid (put in the Level 13, 14, 15, and so on).

I'd guess you can put in more Speed to outspeed other Azelfs, but other than that, I'd go with the standard spread.
