Alright, I'm going to be breeding hp fire on something, but I want it to have 31 IV in speed. I know 31/30/31/30/31/30 is hp fire, but sometimes you can have 31 in different stats, for example gin's hp fire magnemite with 31 in attack. If anyone knows a way i can have 31 in speed, let me know

Using this: http://www.smogon.com/forums/showthread.php?t=20649 I couldn't find a combination with a 31 in Spd that resulted in HP fire

What are some common threats one would include in damage calculations for a Tangrowth analysis?

I've been using Tangrowth for a while now (see my Youtube battles, link in sig) and its great. The only threats I see are SPECIAL moves...and the ever-so-popular Outraging Garchomp. A special move (Heatran's Flash Cannon for example, chips off a huge bite of Tangrowth), but since it has so many HP EVs, it survives. Then Sleep Powder, Leech Seed and Power Whip to death. Sure, its not effective, but oh well.

What is the current tier placement of a light ball pikachu? The reason I ask is that I couldn't find it in the Uber/OU tier list.

EDIT: Forgot to ask, what is the tier placement of raichu?

I'm trying to create a new set for Tangrowth; I meant things I should calculate damage for.

It depends on what the set is. If you already have a move counter for a threat, the threat isn't worth mentioning...so it depends on the EV spread and moves. -_-

Oh, and I have a q: Not Pokemon-related, but are a member's infractions viewable by other members?

About infractions:

I'm not sure, but you can check a couple ways (im interested as well). If you have any, I can't see them. If you don't, look at my profile, and if there are no infractions, then no you can't see them (I got a couple infractions early on in Smogon, but im good now )

I can't see yours. I have 2 aswell (didn't read rules and double-posted). So we can't see each other's, eh? Well thats good! ^_^

Thanks! :D

And when does that "I could be banned!" thing appear under your username? When you have 3 infractions? :/

No idea, lol. Just stay away from inractions I guess.

And does it count as a double post if its a 24 hour bump?

What IVs could get me a high leveled HP: Electric? Without hinderance to SAtk if possible?

[Even]/[Odd]/[Even]/[Odd]/[Odd]/[Even]

[Even]/[Even]/[Even]/[Odd]/[Odd]/[Even]

[Odd]/[Odd]/[Odd]/[Even]/[Odd]/[Odd]

For Hidden Power 65+, the SAtk, SDef and Speed's half (each of them separately) needs to be an odd number. For instance, 23 Speed will increase the HP's Base Power, because its half is 11 (forget the decimal part), an odd number. 29, however, won't increase, due to its half (14) being even.

The most important IV for Hidden Power is SDef. If you get a wrong one (29 instead of 27 or 31, for instance), you're gonna lose 20 points at the Base Power. So, you max BP will be 50.

Hope I have helped you.

It's a hidden number that comes with your trainer ID, usually 5 numbers long, but i think it was 4 in rse, everything you catch has your secret ID, afaik the only way to find out your SID is to upload one of your pokemon onto something like pokesav.

I saw a link to a website that showed the effectiveness of different move combinations a few days ago, does anyone have that link?
