no its not useable in ou, you could try but it has a bad move pool and most pokes shouldent have two attacks of the same type on the same moveset, thats how limited its move pool is.

its better stat is attack but doesnt have any good attacks. flareons speed is also very low. it has a good sp def though but flareon is weak to the most common attack earthquake and one of the most common type water.
 
ok, im gonna ask this question because i seriously dont want to take a risk

is the nature of mesprit set when i talk to it at verity cavern, or is it set when i first encounter it in the wild?

im pretty sure its set when you talk to it in the cavern

Hear me out, this set hits 340 speed, enough to hit any Non-Scar Garchomps with HP ice, it also outspeed base 105s. Overheat's hit and run, and the other 2's fillers.

It depends. If the parent has a 31 IV in a stat and the calculator says the offspring has a 30-31 in that same stat, you can assume that that stat will probably be a 31. I recommend either doing an IV battle to get max IVs or using Metalkid's calculator, as you can get more accurate results by entering multiple levels.

idk it seems to get walled to easily and its two fire moves have low accuracys meaning a miss and its toast. this pokemon would be used more if it actually got good attack moves to go with its very good attack. but it could work you should try it out on shoddy

Venusaur was probably the best counter for CM suicune with Leech Seed, Swords Dance and Sludge Bomb.
Houdoom had the capability to counter celebi with pursuit and could also Beat Up blissey for massive damage.
These were the main reasons but they were good for many other things too!
 
How do people get the stuff like shaymin/darkrai etc. without actually going to the events?

Do they just get the appropriate item and use them or is there more to it than that?

edit- is it possible to do any of this without an AR?

You have to use Pokesav (or AR) to recieve the item/activate the event through mystery gift.
 
Few breeding questions.

1. Are the grandchildren of a hacked pokemon still hacked? I just got this free egg from gamefaqs and while the pokemon has stellar IV's, I can't just believe it's not hacked.
2. Even if you had two 6 flawless hacked parents, that doesn't mean the offspring will automatically have more than 3 flawless right? Most of the offsprings will just have 3 flawless?
3. If I pair a female pokemon and a Ditto, will the Everstone trick work with either or just the female?
4. If I put a female with a Ditto, no egg moves are passed down right?
 
1. it´s not hacked, but it´s cheating, anyway, because its parents/granparents whatever were hacked
2. check out the breeding guide part III for the probabilities with 6 flawless parents, it´s virtually impossible to get such a parent...the fact no more than 3 IVs will come from parents doesn´t give you a reason to call them legit, 6 flawless parents have way better chances to produce quality children, in my eyes it´s cheating however you try to reason
3. only on ditto (whenever there is ditto it will work only on ditto)
4. correct
