I think it records the direct parents am not too sure about the grandparents though as usually it takes you 3 generation of breeding to get a really good baby, sometimes it takes up to 6 generatios so it would be too long if the pokemon kept all that data wouldn't it?

yes there is a chance when said pokemon has two abilities and the other ability is not available in the 3rd gen

So in this case, the answer is no? Electrike will still have Lightning Rod after transfering it over and evolving it?

Gardevoir can't get Wish in R/S/E right? I'm playing Emerald now and while leveling my Garde, I was hoping it would be some awesome supporting humanoid with Hypnosis/Wish/attack/attack, but in Serebii's R/S/E dex it doesn't mention it.

And btw, for the record: Level my Swampert to like 70 and use it by itself to beat the E4 or raise like 5 up to 55 for E4?

There is indeed a 10 ANIV Celebi. It should be at least Lv70, with OT: 10 ANIV and ID number: 00010.

What ball did it come in, and did it come with any ribbons? What is the chance of it being shiny? Does it have set IVs? EVs?

I'm almost positive his pokemon is hacked (make that 99% positive) but he won't believe me without proof.

Ok, that settles it, its hacked and badly.

FYI, here are the hacks I suspect were used on it:

-fake OT/ID
-31 IVs in every stat
-255 EVs in every stat
-Maxed Ribbons
-Shiny

And thats just a quick look at it, I didn't inspect the poffin status or moveset. And my friend believed that it was a special shiny, all ribbons, and equal stats celebi from the 10 ANIV event XD I wonder how his friend tricked him into thinking he went to the event though, lol.

And if its my friend, I won't ditch him cuz i know he's a noob lol. He doesn't no scratch about IVs, and calls me obsessed for knowing about them (I just retort that its just as bad as being addicted to halo, which I absolutely despise cuz it makes a lot of people think they're cool cuz they play it and i suck at it LOL). He also thinks beat up is a good move XD But I'm trying to teach him about IVs, though I don't think he quite gets it lol.

lol, I don't even know his friend.

And I need to teach ALL of my friends. They know about natures and EVs, but they dont use power items at all, and one of them only EV trains in special attack because he only uses special attacking ubers (he doesn't even train speed).

Maybe I'll ditch my friend for now until he gives me back my power items and jibaku's jirachi that he stole from me while i let him use my game...

I have no idea where to post this, so I'll just post this in here.

I recently purchased an R4 Revolution flash card. I want to put cheats like the clone cheat and PokeSAV on it, but I have no idea how to do this. I do know I need to use the CheatEditor. If any of you can give me a step-to-step guide to add codes to my list (I already have standard codes on my R4 that come with the game) please send me a PM. :)

I tried to do this, but I horribly failed, I accidentally deleted the normal cheats and the cheats I wanted to add weren't added.

I need some damage calcs run for me to see if this set is worth going for.
Situation is a double battle with Typhlosion and Cherrim out on the field with sunny day and Cherrim using Helping hand on Typhlosions 100% Eruption. I think in the end the power of Eruption ends up being 759.

I'd like to know how much damage it will do to the following pokemon, assuming standard EV spreads and natures:
Blissy
Salamence
Rhyperor
Gyarados
Kingdra
Vaporeon
Tyranitar
