lol Ebay? :D

I tried looking there, couldn't find anything good. :(

I heard there was a IV calculator app for a TI graphing calculator. Can anyone direct me to that? Thanks.

Also, I'm still looking for a good place (other than pokemon center) that sells pokemon stuff to buy a keychain.

I can't really help you with Pokemon merchandise, but I did happen to find that IV calculator. You have to input pretty much everything, though: Base Stats, Actual Stats, Level, EVs, and Nature, but if you know the Base Stats, I can see this being useful when you're not around a computer. I can't vouch for its accuracy, though, as I'm not able to upload new apps to my TI-83 Plus--I don't have the cable. XD (I suppose it would also help to have a table of Base Stats in the calculator handy; that or create a program to calculate individual stats/Base Stats.)

Great, thanks. Yeah, the main reason I want it is so that I don't have to bring my laptop everywhere in case I want to check IVs. A little sheet of paper with base stats and a calculator is a lot easier. :)

@TheBear

Typlosion is a decent sweeper, especially the Eruption/Choice Scarf Set. If you can manage to keep it hidden until the late game, it can easily clean up what's left of the opposing team.

How do you soft reset for the legendary birds in XD? I was wondering if it's worthwhile since I restarted my game, but I heard that you can't SR the birds because it autosaves after the battle or something.

I'm not sure, but I think it is only for Lugia only. I haven't played XD so I really don't know too much about it.

If a Pokemon has a 31 in Speed and Special Attack will it always have Mischievous or is random on which characteristic it gets?

@Llama_Bill: The Nature is set when the man has an egg for you, the IV's change every time. So when you want to SR for it, you save before you take the egg from the man. Then you take it, hatch it, check the nature. If it's the right nature, you can SR for nice IV's :)

Does anyone know the AR code to check IV's of an egg (for pokemon pearl)?? If so, please PM me with the code!!!!

It will autosave after the battle before you can check IVs.For lugia you can look at stats but not nature.

Just curious with one kind of combo, when a pokemon is holding flame/toxic orb and psychoshifts the status to the opponent, will the flame/toxic orb activate again, or will you have to switch in and out for it to activate?

Do re-battle codes count as the legend being an illegit one or is it fine? (Saw it brought up in Look What I Bred and I just got an AR so I wanted to know)

I'm planning a team, and I have one big thing left: who would be a good pokemon to pass an agility to that resists rock. Resisting Ice, Fire, and/or Electric are plusses.

I had a burn orb cresselia doing this.. anyway, if you switch in you'll get the burn/toxic but you won't take any damage from it [any turn after that you'll take damage]. If you shift it, you'll be burned/poisoned at the end of the same turn but it won't do any damage to until the end of the next turn.

Maybe... a Golduck with Focus Punch? With a Lonely Nature, 252 Attack EVs, and an Expert Belt, Golduck does 96.47% - 113.52% to a maximum Defense, minimum HP Blissey.

With a neutral Nature, 124 Attack EVs, and an Expert Belt, Golduck does 77.27% - 90.94% to the same Blissey, and can then outspeed it the next turn and KO it with Waterfall (25.96% - 30.57%). I guess that's probably more efficient than the first calculation.
Hm...Thanks for the advice, but what else can Golduck be good for? And how many people immediately know that Golduck is a special attacker?
