Who knows want to trade back and I EV train another Pokemon. Check it yourself to see if it's Poison Heal. Who knows maybe it only stays Poison Heal in your game.

Someone probably pokesav'ed it, and then messed up the class, which is the trait that is passed on when a pokemon evolves.

OK well what numbers should I be aiming for with my Lugia, it is Bold with 2 in speed, so I'm not gonna be outspeeding any Groudon/Kyogres? i just wanna use the stallset with it and basically make it my physical wall.

Also since I don't have any access to a Calm Blissey, could I possibly use Careful Selfdestruct Snorlax (with thick fat) in place of it? Or should I just stick to my Bold "Plust" Blissey? I have a Calm Regice, would that possibly be a good special wall, or would I just be fearing too much flamethrowers and Aura Spheres?

This is my so far team.

Dootakun@ Leftovers
Trait: Levitate
Nature: Impish
EVs: 252 HP / 52 Atk / 148 Def / 52 SDef
- Gyro Ball
- Hypnosis
- Earthquake
- Reflect

Elekible@ Expert Belt
Trait: Motor Drive
Nature: Lonely
EVs: 200 Atk / 174 Spd / 136 SAtk
- Thunder Bolt
- Earthquake
- Cross Chop
- Ice Punch

Kureseria@ Leftovers
Trait: Levitate
Nature: Bold
EVs: 252 HP / 148 SDef / 110 SAtk
- Ice Beam
- Moonlight
- Thunder Wave
- Light Screen

What am I lacking? What do I need? I just need a quick answer.
missing: a Ghost resist, a Dark resist (Bronzong isn't switching into Tar forever), a counter for Heracross, a counter for Gyarados and Gengar will cause issues. Relaxed > Impish on Bronzong.

If you want, put in enough EVs for 280 or 290. Alternatively, just make it full defensive.

Use the Blissey. Absolutely nothing else will work in Ubers.

K, thanks Great Sage. With Lugia, I can get 280 with 212 EVs (geez that's alot), that beats adamant/modest groudon/kyogre. But aren't most Groudon's Jolly and most Kyogres scarfed? Well with that I can max HP and stick the rest in SDef which will give me 411 HP (maybe I should drop to 404 and stick the rest in Def/SDef?), 316 Def, 355 SDef. Is that sufficient enough for a Lugia? I will be having reflect and Roost. If I don't give the speed EVs, I guess I should just be running no attacks, ie using thunderwave. Or else if I give that speed, should I give Ice Beam?

To be honest, Jolly is a crappy nature on Groudon for D/P. Stuff tends to fall into the category of "will outspeed Groudon regardless" (Lati@s, most Lugia, Palkia, faster things) or "will never outspeed Groudon" (Blissey, Metagross, Giratina). Adamant is more common anyways. And yeah, most Kyogres are Scarfed.

Take out a few points from SpDef so you can get to 319 Defense and that 2-point EV.

Yes.

how do i go about posting pictures on these forums? i have the pic i want saved on my computer

btw grass knot is usualy better because it hits big dudes for more
either works though

Not really an immediately answerable question, but would anyone be willing to help me build a team? I'm not a noob whatsoever, I just am having trouble creating that team that really flows well. Please, PLEASE PM me if you can help.

Ok, I want to breed a Cubone with Fire Punch. I have access to all the games except Sapphire and Diamond, but only one GBA and one DS (and a Gamecube), so I was planning on transferring Marowak from XD to Emerald, then teaching it Fire Punch, then transferring it to Pearl and breeding it with my Adamant Ditto. Will the babies know Fire Punch? Or do I need to breed a Cubone in Emerald and teach Fire Punch there? Thanks!

firepunch isnt a egg move or a TM move so it cant be passed to the baby.

Does synchronize work in XD/colo? In XD you can get a ralts early in the game, so if synchronize works, you can just SR for a nature desired and start SRing for other good stuff,

How do I get a Shedinja to learn Agility?

It can't.
Energy Ball vs. Grass Knot. What's better and why?

Grass knot deals damage based on weight, while energy ball is strength 80. So energy ball is better for the likes of vaporeon, manaphy and phione, while grass knot tends to do better elsewhere. Most pokemon that learn these moves tend to have better attack options against things that aren't grass weak, so grass knot tends to be better on the whole.

Does tailwind really only activate for three turns? That's what the analysis says, but I think the ingame text says 5 turns (according to serebii). 3 turns is also inconsistant with how gamefreak has handled similar moves like gravity, trick room, sunny day, rain dance, reflect and light screen, which all last 5 turns. Can someone confirm this?

I was reading Mesprit's analysis and I got to thinking...

Why isn't the Shadow Ball / Hidden Power [Fighting] combination used more often on Mesprit over BoltBeam? BoltBeam is effective, yes, but something else could do the BoltBeaming while Mesprit takes care of several Pokemon usually known as its counters. It could also cause one or two unnecessary switches when the opponent assumes BoltBeam...

Shedinja can have Agility, just evolve Nincada in level 38 and teach this move for Ninjask. Then Shedinja will Have Agility too.

Darthguac, Tailwind does last 3 turns. I got surprised too when I was battling opponent's Pelipper.

If I suspect I got a hacked Pokémon in a trade, can I breed and release the Pokémon I got and my game will be fine?

your game will be fine but that baby is still counted as fake. Kinda like STDs once the parents have it their children have it as well

Ah good. I got some Pokémon from GTS today, only four, two starters, Cranidos and Spiritomb. They all have random stats, the highest IV I got was 20. But there's always a chance to get fake Pokémon with random stats... I'll be doing this, the IDs don't matter since I can always clone in Emerald :p. thanks for answering!

PBR only detects illegal stats. Any good-looking hack will work on PBR and so will something with hacked parents. They're just considered illegit here for the purpose of trading I believe.
