Those berries are unobtainable in-game; that must be why they aren't used in any metagame.

Their effects are actually in our Item Descriptions thread in the D/P Analyses--except for the Micle Berry.

Since Custap has been explained, I'll go into the others:

Micle Berry - "pinch" berry that raises Accuracy one stage
Jaboca Berry - if holder is hit by a Physical attack, the foe takes damage equal to 1/8 of its max. HP
Rowap Berry - Jaboca Berry for Special attacks

Again, as Age of Kings mentioned, they're not that special, but I suppose they have their uses.

Oh, and I should clarify that Custap Berry makes the holder "faster" for the next turn, i.e. priority modifiers still otherwise apply. That means that a Pokemon that has eaten a Custap uses, say, Reversal will still go second if the opponent uses Quick Attack.

When breeding, a ditto with an everstone passes down the nature approximately 50% of the time to the baby...

But when I was breeding a hippopotus and ditto with everstone, the nature was not even passed down. In fact, I think it was random. The only thing different was that both parents had the same natures (Impish). When I switched Hippopotus's, one with a different nature, the nature of the ditto was passed down like it was supposed to.

So why does it not work when the parents have the same natures?

Anyone???

The Everstone nature passing doesn't work if the two Pokemon are from different language copies of the game e.g. an American Ditto and a Japanese Hippopotas won't get Ditto's nature passed down. Was your Hippo foreign? If so, there's your answer.

Maybe you just had really bad luck. I've gone through around ten eggs in a row a few times with properly Everstoned parents without nature passing.

The shadow Magcargo in XD knows Heat Wave. Get a male one and breed it. It's the same deal as Advance Helping Hand Hitmons: the Hitmonchan knew Helping Hand. It's the only way to get it.

If I breed my Ditto with a male Charmander, which has Fire Punch and Belly Drum, in DP, it will pass down both those moves to the offspring, correct?

No, because Fire Punch is a tutor move in Emerald, and those don't get passed down by breeding even there. You'd think they would, because they're kinda like TMs, and the very first move tutor's (Crystal's) moves DID get passed down, but no. No Charmander will ever hatch with Fire Punch without hacking.

A little question about download: when boosting attack or special attack does it consider base stats or actual stats? Thanks in advance.

How would Focus Punch fit into Dragonite's standard outrage set? I know fire blast is to counter-predict steels trying to wall outrage. What I'm trying to determine is, is focus punch better? (In typing this, it seems like it would be highly situational, and a good surprise.)

Move 1: Dragon Dance
Move 2: Outrage
Move 3: Focus Punch
Move 4: Earthquake
Item: Life Orb
Nature: Jolly
Evs: 58 HP / 252 ATK / 200 SPD

I know a good way to find out would be testing it out in battle, but I was wondering if anyone had success with a similar strategy.

with all the sub CM sets out there, e.g. mismagius and raikou, how comes no one uses sub bulk up? or is sword dancing just plain better than it? thanks in advance

Among those that learn Bulk Up, there really isn't anything short of Slaking or Machamp that can take many hits of any kind (and singling them out might be a stretch), thus boosting their Defense wouldn't help much. Besides, many of them have better things to do, anyway. (Plus, Slaking doesn't have time to setup. XD)

U-Turn question - If I have a Choice Pokemon, like Flygon, use U-Turn onto another Choice Poke, will that Poke only be able to use U-Turn?

Gilgar / Gliscor is ground/flying.

If it uses Dig, will Earthquake be able to hit it while it is underground?

My guess was yes, since I read that when a flying poke uses Roost, it can be hit by ground attacks that turn.

Is this true?

Awe aside, can rate/offer me a suggestion on my Trick Room set-up Porygon 2? As it stands:

Porygon2@ Leftovers/Lum Berry
Relaxed (+ Def, -Speed) - Download (or maybe trace?)
129HP/252Def/129SD
-Thunderbolt
-Ice Beam
-Trick Room
-Recover

I'm not too creative right now, so. ._. I'll take suggestions before I test it out over Wi-fi.

Cards, thanks for clarifying with Custap. I was thinking it was something like guaranteed Quick Claw, or something. x_x

Anyways, I still need suggestion with this Porygon set. As it stands, Vespiquen will be used for support and Blastoise is going to be my Utility-Spinner, final spreads and sets not finalized. I'm using a bulkier spread to ensure that it actually survives on the one-off chance that people use Staraptor starters, but I think Lum Berry should be used over Leftovers so it won't get statused in the process.
