Grumpig does pretty well; it packs more offensive power and Thick Fat for less defenses overall.
I don't think Luke should use Expert belt or Life orb though, its quite slow and the Attack stats are only average for a sweeper. So I tend to use Choice items or Focus Sash on it.
How much does a Salac Berry boost speed? Ive been messing around with a Lickilicky which knows Counter, Explosion, Endure, Return, it has the max speed of 218, and needed to know does it outspeed pokes such as Weavile after the Salac Boost?
Obviously its counter (after counter which should take down one poke im not in Salac Range, i then endure) and then obviously Explosion... Ive not tested it properly due to lack of time...

If its max speed is 218, after a salac it will have 327 Spd which will outspeed:
All +natured pokes with base 95 spd (1 point short of tying with base 100 +natures)
All natural base 110 spd
So it WON'T outspeed standard weavile, not even Adamant weavile.

But seriously, what happens if you lose to Dialga or Palkia? Is it like Azelf and friends, where the IV's and everything are "re-rolled"?
And one of the guide books says something along the lines of "if Dialga or Palkia fled, they'll be back after you beat the Pokemon League." I know guides are often inaccurate, this IS the same guide that recommends Iron Ball Fling Weavile, but I wonder if there's any truth there.

I'm getting ready to HP EV train my Snorlax and the way I've had the Power Items explained to me is that it takes the EVs (say, from a Starly, SPD +1) and translates that to an HP EV (+1). HOWEVER, from reading the past "Ask a question" thread, I'm... not entirely sure that's right.

Power items add +4 EVs in the stat matching the item IN ADDITION TO the normal EVs you get. Example: your Snorlax beats up a Starly while holding the HP power item. Snorlax gets 4 Attack and 1 Speed. This is doubled by Pokerus.

Covering my bases, if it's doubled by PokéRus, I'm getting 8 HP and 2 SPD, correct?
