Hey! I've been on Showdown for a while - I've been looking around but I cannot seem to find the answer to this - Is there a way to report someone? I was on 1vs1 cup today- I lost a battle to someone and he was like: "You are so stupid for losing" than he proceeded to laugh at me, call me names and added some really "pretty" gestures. I have a screenshot and I'd really like to see him getting a warning or something - Because this is supposed to be a friendly site -and 1vs1 is pretty much based on luck - it really depends on what team you get so you cannot just be rude to someone who loses.

Well, if you are experiencing trouble with another player, you could do the command /ignore [username] . You will no longer be able to receive messages from this person. Also, if the person still tries to persist on harassing/bothering you, you should definitely send in your screen shot to one of the global moderators and they will be glad to help. Hope I helped!
This message regards the public chatroom "Lobby". Now Lobby is a group of highly active members, but this thing is, is that Lobby has become a place for trolls and spammers to plan many attacks. I can assure you, half the percentage of them have been banned temporarily due to various spam attacks and posting shocksites on to any chatroom they plan on seeing. I used to run a chatroom and some of them would come in and spam the chatroom followed by links that redirect you to your own facebook account. One of the very reasons I have quit running that chatroom. I've seen it in numerous amounts of chatrooms. Any continuation of "Lobby" should be provoked. A chatroom is supposed to have a warm welcome to new guests. When I go to say Hi, they treat me very rudely and have a lot of vulgar and sexual things to say to me, but I'm not the only one, it happens to ll people who plan on going into their chatroom. If any further information about this chatroom comes into place, please notify me. Thank you.
This thread is for questions about Pokemon Showdown to be answered, while I understand that you're sick of trolls and spammers I regret to highlight you haven't actually posted a question for us to answer. Rest assured that lobby staff do all they can to stop spammers and trolls but it's a never ending battle. There is software that allows you to change your IP and log back in after being banned, this poses a real problem but there isn't a whole lot we can do about other people's IP. That's why we say that the lobby can be intense and we have many other chat rooms for you to visit, you are by no means required to join the lobby. Also our lobby staff are extremely hard working individuals that usually catch spammers within 1-2 messages, obviously there are gonna be a few that slip through their fingers but there's no such thing as perfection.
Normally you would simply send a message to a server staff member (% or up in lobby). In this case ("fuck your bullshit hacks bitch") it's not really breaking any rules, he's just mad because his Gengar got flinched.

Usually the best thing to do is /ignore username and you wont see his inappropriate messages.
I've seen people cite how much a move or item is used on a certain Pokemon. For some made-up examples, 34% of Talonflames use Bulk-up, or 65% of Tyranitar use Assault Vests. Where would I find these kinds of statistics?

Well, as long as you've had your account for a week and won at least one rated battle, you'll be able to talk through autoconfirmed.
Oh, having a score of over 1000+ on official ladder counts right? I'm not certain which are ladder battles, but every time I win one my ladder updates and the score goes up, so I'm guessing OU is official ladder.
Just don't select a nature and don't enter any EVs - PS takes care of that for you when you enter the battle.
Hey guys, I'm having trouble logging on to PS under my normal alts because every one of the ones I've used in the past reports a "wrong password" alert, which makes me think someone has hacked into all my accounts :c Is there any way around this or am i just SOL (i can also provide more info as to alt names/ip address if needed)
edit: nm, i think it was a problem with the server reporting "under heavy load" and getting mixed up with that in some way or another. anyway I am able to log on under my normal alts now *phew* haha c:

Yeah you're right - it's just the heavy load. Unfortunately there's not much you can do about it and it seems to happen around the same time everyday.
