Yes, that would work. This has actually been known for a while. What appears to be the best strategy so far is to have Desukan Mean Look a physical attacker, and either Will-o-Wisp-ing the target and switching to Slaking, or using Memento and sending in Slaking, then having Slaking hit the foe with Pursuit, so even if the foe realizes what's happening and tries to switch out, Slaking contracts Mummy in any case. I recently bred up a Slaking with Pursuit for just this strategy. If I had Desukan and Slaking on the same team and if I attacked something with desukan and switch to slaking the next turn and the pokemon that I attacked with desukan (that has mummy) attacks Slaking, doesn't that make slaking have mummy and basically makes it BROKEN!! (This also applies to Regigigas)
I thought Mummy only activates if an opponent hits you with a contact move, not the other way around. If I had Desukan and Slaking on the same team and if I attacked something with desukan and switch to slaking the next turn and the pokemon that I attacked with desukan (that has mummy) attacks Slaking, doesn't that make slaking have mummy and basically makes it BROKEN!! That was poorly phrased...
Bulls Eye makes the holder lose their immunities, not the other way around.
Does a Curse from a ghost-type work through a sub?
If one swiches out a Pokemon infected with Mummy, does Mummy wear out?
This is true. This is why a Slaking used for this strategy would know Pursuit, so it can slam the foe with a contact move even if the opponent figures out your strategy and tries to switch (Mean Look on Desukan is so the foe can't switch out until Slaking is out).I thought Mummy only activates if an opponent hits you with a contact move, not the other way around.
I think the main use is to Trick it onto an enemy Ghost-type who would otherwise block Rapid Spin attempts. Also, as said above, it allows Ground-types with LightningRod to enjoy the Special Attack boost they wouldn't normally get, as the move wouldn't activate LightningRod's new effect if the LightningRod Pokemon would be immune to the move anyway. Of course, that would be kind of stupid, as Rhydon, Rhyperior, and Marowak all have much better things to do. Still, not a bad idea for catching a foe off guard, especially since Rhyperior has a respectable special movepool. I myself use a special sweeping Weavile. One time on PBR, this guy switched in his Steelix as my Weavile was Nasty Plotting, right? OHKO'd the sucker with Surf. I wish I could have seen the guy's face!Ew. I'm not sure why you would want that but whatev.
Which one? The one that allows you to clone the Pokemon you put up for trade (because I think that one was already fixed prior to Platinum)? Or the one that allows you to evolve trade-evolution Pokemon without actually trading them? Either way, I don't know, but if you do mean the first one, I'm leaning towards no.does the GTS trade glitch still work in black and white? please answer
Hi guys I am new here and I have a question. In US the games releases 3-4 months earlier than in germany so I might buy it in US, but there a a few questions.
- I have 2 Nintendo DS Systems, a DS-XL and a DS-Lite, both were buyed in Germany. I heard that I can play English games with my Lite but not with my XL, is that triue?
- Can I play the US Version with my DS?
- I have a german Soul Silver and I have to transfer my PKMN to Black/white. Can I transfer my "german" PKMN from my german SS via XL to my US Black/White in my Lite?
- Can I trade from my US Black version to a german black version?
- Can I battle with my US version a guy that has the german version?
- Is it known if one can play US games with the new Nintendo 3d if buyed in Germany?
Thx a lot for answering :-)
Now, I hear that if a Flying type holds an Iron Ball, it takes neutral damage from Ground moves, no matter what its other type would dictate (IE: Fan Rotom would take neutral EQ damage, despite being an Electric-type). Is this true? Because if so, then that just may be the advantage that its Flying-type gives it. Aside from Air Slash STAB, of course.
Well, I'm no expert, but Hone Claws and Hi Jump Kick does sound like a potent combination. HC powers up HJK, and solves the accuracy issue at the same time. Same with Stone Edge, yes. As for Fire Blast, why not Blaze Kick? It runs off the Attack stat that Hone Claws raises, and having 90% accuracy, also benefits from the Accuracy boost. So as far as I can tell, provided you're able to set up Hone Claws, I really don't see why it wouldn't be an effective Blaziken..Is Hone Claws/HJK/Fire Blast/SE a good Blaziken? Also, is the old LeadApe still usable, and if so, with what changes?
Can someone tell me why the PO EV system goes up to 255 EVs per stat while the analysis (and I'm guessing games) only go to a max of 252 EVs per stat. Is it a glitch or done on purpose?
