Hey Smogon,

I just realized that Vespiquen has so many weaknesses to so many common types that she may not be worth it as a fighting wall. What do you suggest for a relatively easy to get fighting wall that can be found without beating the Elite Four in D/P?

My first thought was Weezing, but thats after the Elite Four. Then I thought Skarmory, but thats found in the same place as Weezing. Gligar makes an excellent counter, but you need a copy of Emerald inserted. Hmm. Dusknoir? No, you need the PokeRadar. I realise this has been absolutely useless but damn it, I've typed it now, and I'm not going to delete it.

Edit: While hardly a 'wall' by conventional standards, Gengar is completely immune to fighting attacks, as well as being a great Pokemon in his own right. Gastly can be found in the Lost Tower and the Old Chateau.

Can I get a list for Grass Knot base powers?

It was in the research thread but it just dissapeared and I cant find it anywhere

I already have a Gengar, and he's not really a wall.

I mean something that works kinda like Weezing, but without the whole "HURR HURR BEAT THE ELITE FOUR FIRST" requirement.

I think I'll just stick to Vespiquen for now.

The ditto I imported from sapphire isn't breeding with anything?
I tried a riolu (the one you get from an egg) and the same ditto but they prefer to play with other pokemon? So what gives?

It's just Riolu that can't breed, so you have to evolve it to breed.

Does the Everstone trick work in D/P? I've tried to breed a female Starly holding one and none of the eggs had the same nature.

So pokemon that don't enter battles with the exp. share gains experience and Ev points right same as the battler? Someone told me it doesn't, so just to make sure.

Aye, the experience is shared between them, but they both get the full amount of EVs.

The Ditto isn't a paedophile, sicko. I think you should have a think about what you've done.

Marshall-If a pokemon has an exp. share, then it will gain 1/2 of the experience and the normal amount of EV's as if it was the only one in the battle.

Two questions- do the wise glasses and muscle band increase special/physical moves by 20%? Also, if you're in a double battle, and one of your opponents has pressure, but your first pokemon kills it before your second pokemon attacks, will the second pokemon still be affected by pressure?

Dexterity-baby pokémon can't breed.

How exactly does the Everstone trick work? Is the female who should hold the Everstone, or the male? And what about Ditto+Male, Ditto+Female and Ditto+Genderless?

And where do I find an Everstone?

EDIT - Medicham with 460 ATK (Pure Power) and 200 DEF using Power Trick. After the move, will it have 200 ATK/460 DEF, 200 ATK/230 DEF, 400 ATK/460 DEF or 400 ATK/230 DEF?

Everstones are underground. They're insanely common-I have like 26 of them (without cloning them)

That's weird, I still haven't found one. The other place to get one is to trade a medicham for the haunter in snowpoint. The haunter is holding one.

When breeding with a Ditto, Ditto always holds the everstone, otherwise the female does.

When breeding Jap and Eng pogeys, the everstone trick does not work.

The Everstone trick works in the following cases:

1) Male breeds with Female holding Everstone.
2) Male breeds with Ditto holding Everstone.
3) Female breeds with Ditto holding Everstone.
4) Genderless breeds with Ditto holding Everstone.

In each case, the nature of the Everstone holder will have a 50% chance to be passed to the baby.

Medicham would have 400 Attack and 230 Defense after Power Trick.

The increase is by 10% for both.

I will ask again, what are some good stat points to go for on a mild parukia and a serious cresselia?
Also, I was going to put psychic, calm mind, and thunderbolt on my Uxie. For the fourth move, should I use substitute or rest?

Yeah, I found two in one wall once.

You can also get one by trading a Medicham for Haunter (Haunter is holding it). Medicham are pretty easy to find, so it shouldn't be too hard, even if you don't want to search underground.

edit- Is heatran considered an uber?

I believe Female w/ Everstone and Ditto w/ Everstone further increase the chance of Natures being passed on. Don't quote me on that though.
