EDIT: Assuming it's got a max SA IV, it should have 104 EVs in there.

Some other people have said that Pokerus doubles the EVs gained from the Power items, but if you fought 25 Gastlies with that setup and still wound up short, maybe it's not the case...

I may make a thread later on today about how pkrs effects power items and such. thanks for the help/
 
I don't have much idea on how i'm going to ask this so instead of asking the question i'll give an example.

My Pokemon is equiped with Power Lens (Sp.Attack boost) and defeat a Zubat. Will he have just 1 EV in speed or 1 in speed and four in Sp.Attack?

1 speed and 4 special attack
 
Thanks Atlas, this means training will be a lot easier now, with things working out this way and EV reducing berries
 
My Porygon-z's SPatt is 336 at level 100 with 31 IVs in that + 61 = only 397.


Okay, so I figured out how many EV's it had by reducing them all and rare candying to level hundred. 336 ap att. Now, it was at 365 when I thought I had EV'd it. So that's a 29 stat difference, just about half. 29x4 = 116.

What EV stuffs I did was give it ten calciums, then fought 16 Gastlys. 15 to get me to 250, then fought a gastly with only pkrs. Now, I don't really know what to do with this now. XD I'm gonna let someone else take over.

1) It's 63, not 61.

2) You forgot to multiply the 63 by the personality boost of 1.1, rounded down. 336 + floor(63 * 1.1) = 405.

3) You'll probably just confuse yourself further if you keep using that formula to try and calculate EVs. You're better off using my Excel stat chart and plugging in numbers.

Look's like my carelessness got in the way again. I forgot how I got 61. Must have been a typo when I was EVing earlier.

But the pkrs+power items issue still needs to be solved.
 
If someone used action replay, and they scanned for it at an event that person would be unable to enter the event (unless they used a different game pak that was untouched by action replay)?

This was a question Earlier the answer was 1 in Speed and 4 in Spec Att. My question is simular. What if my poke was battling a Geodude( 1 D point) and was eqquiped with the power item that gives 4 EV's to Def. Now what if my poke had Pokerus would it get 8 EV's from the item then add another 2 from double the Geodude? How would this work This is how i got to that if ur not sure.

Geodude=1
Power item=4
Geodude definatly gets doubled to 2 but does the 4 get doubled cause of the pokerus?
 
What is the ideal speed for a pokemon that plans to use Agility in DP? I'm mostly asking this because I don't know what the common Choice Scarf users are and what speeds they reach... but I just want to know what speed beats them after Agility.
 
Pikachu, Golbat, Venemoth, Meowth, Poliwag, Poliwhirl, Abra, Ponyta, Kangaskhan, Mr. Mime, Moltres, Furret, Ho-oh, Vigoroth, Zangoose, Kyogre, Groudon, Deoxys (L), and maybe some 4th gen all have 90 base speed
 
If anyone is generous to do calcuations and whatnot:
- How much attack does Gengar need to ohko Blissey with Explosion (with Life Orb)? If so, is hasty > modest?
- How much attack does Azelf need to ohko Blissey with Explosion? Blisseys are max def, bold.

I'm almost ready to transfer the Manaphy Egg from Ranger to Diamond.
If I save before getting the Egg at the Market, can I get different natures each time it hatchs?
 
Is there a guy in DP who tells you your IVs like in Emerald?
And when you breed is the nature/gender set when the guy steps outside?
 
I don't know if this has been asked before, but I don't have the time to check the previous 50 pages. When I use my starting pokemon to fight the starting Starly and the rival's pokemon, do I receive the EV's or are they negated?
