You might have selected the wrong router page or your router might be set to a non default setting. You might also be able to find your router address in your network settings
 
Hmmm, I'm sure i didn't select the wrong router page because the name of my router is ZHONE and is the Paradyne version. Also any guide to get my router address from my network settings?
 
Don't understand ladder

In the ladder section of shoddy battle, what is standard, ubers, underused, and suspect?

Also, where do I check my rating and others?

Also, what is little cup?

Standard/Overused(OU) - These are the most used Pokemon in Shoddy battle. Only Pokemon below this Tier could be used on this ladder.

Ubers : Pokemon that are too strong for the OU tier and are banned in any other ladder. They can only be used in that ladder.

Underused(UU) - There are the most underused Pokemon in Shoddy battle.

Suspect: Can't really remember this, but I think its the testing of Pokemon are able to change tiers, buto nly few aren't allowed on this ladder and its from the Uber Tier.

Littlecup: This is using of level 5 Pokemon at they're first stage. Here is a link to the LittleCup Forums.
 
Ok, my thread got closed before it could be answered properly. I am looking to download Shoddy 1.9 SERVER. Not the client. Is there a link that someone can give me for the server that has Plat upgrades. I am not looking for the client. I have looked everwhere and can only come up with server 1.7
 
Can somebody please explain to me the save log function in battles?

I understand its for taking the recorded information but can I have some information on what file type and how to re-access the file after its been saved?
 
It's saved as a typical POSIX text file (i.e. \n line breaks). You can open log files in any text editor other than Microsoft ® Notepad ®, because Notepad is complete crap and will only interpret \r\n as a linebreak. However, any other text editor (including Microsoft ® Wordpad ®) will work.

It doesn't have an actual file type since there's no extension (.txt, .doc, etc.), but you can open it in any word processor, such as Notepad or Word.

Bah, beaten to the punch. Looks like I wasn't entirely correct either.
 
When I try to look at my record on Shoddy, the program basically dies. It lags forever, and it doesn't show me the record. How can I fix this, and/or is there another place where I can get my record?
 
Maybe a Java update would be good.

For a server or the fourms? If you mean the server, its impossible IMO, for the forums just log in incorrectly and the forgot password would appear(That's how I did it.)
 
An Admin is able to delete accounts (so you can remake it with the same name), but if its on a large server you are probably best making a new account. I don't think there is a password recovery system.

Alright. I lost the password for the official smogon server so I suppose I'm fucked. Well, I suppose I'll try anyway. Thanks!
 
That bug was fixed a long time ago. Make sure you have you are using the latest version of java and the newest version of Shoddy Battle
 
when I try to get onto Smogon University, I keep getting the message:
An error occurred while attempting to connect to the server:

Software caused connection abort: recv failed

what can I do to fix this? I've restarted my computer twice with no luck
 
yeah, now the server was restarted.

Only problem is, now even more people can't get on. Something must be wrong with Smogon U.
 
I'm also unable to log on to the Smogon server. It doesn't appear in the list of servers, and when I input the advanced information, shoddybattle.smogon.com, port 50000, it refuses the connection.
