Tera Type: Fairy / Water

[OVERVIEW]

Assault Vest maximizes Raging Bolt's titanic stat line to enable it to check a variety of threats in the tier while leveraging disruptive utility moves to dictate the pace of battle for its teammates. Its monstrous special attack stat allows it to put out strong damage with minimal investment and focus on maximizing its hit-taking capacity, stat-checking a large variety of special attackers in the format.

[SET COMMENTS]
  • Thunderclap is Raging Bolt's Signature move provided it with a useful strong priority attack to clean up weakened foes and circumvent its middling speed stat and opposing speed control.
  • Draco Meteor is Raging Bolt's strongest attack, allowing it to OHKO some of the tiers many prominent dragons such as Gouging Fire, Dragonite and Roaring Moon and providing a solid way to chunk incoming ground types such a Lando-I.
  • Thunderbolt is Raging Bolt's most consistent STAB move, allowing it to OHKO max HP Tornadus with the given EVs and 2HKO terastallized Ogerpon-Wellspring.
  • Snarl is a fantastic disruptive tool that allows Raging Bolt to prevent opposing special attackers from making significant progress, exploiting Raging bolt's stellar bulk and typing to enter battle against common special attacking threats in Chi-yu, Gholdengo and Iron Crown. Snarl makes great progress into Gholdengo and Iron Crown and their most common supporters with good damage output and a titanic HP bar on Raging Bolt preventing these special-attacking targets from muscling through too easily. Snarl also makes it difficult for common special breakers Landorus, Ursaluna-Bloodmoon and Regidrago to find entry points on Raging Bolt to remove it, having their damage severely hindered if they switch in directly.
  • Electroweb is a good disruptive option to hinder speed control from Tornadus, hitting both slots for solid STAB damage and making it difficult for non-ground opponents to find safe entry.
  • Volt Switch is an option to allow raging bolt to act as a pivot, using its great bulk and low speed to provide safe entry points for aggressive partners such as Lando-I and Chien-Pao against targets such as Gholdengo.
  • Snarl is a great option for bulky structures centered around pokemon like Diancie and Okidogi that don't like facing the tier's common special breakers. Electroweb is typically best on teams centered around strong wall-breaking pokemon like landorus and ogerpon-hearthflame that focus on maintaining a speed advantage to burst through enemy teams. Volt Switch is best on offensive teams that appreciate Raging Bolt's fantastic hit-taking potential to slow pivot and bring in devastating threats like scarf Chi-Yu and Chien-Pao.
  • Tera Fairy is Raging Bolt's choice tera type, making it immune to plentiful Dragon damage in the format from the likes of Regidrago, opposing raging Raging Bolt, and Dragonite while leveraging its ability to threaten them back and providing useful neutrality into Ground and Ice attacks from Landorus, Kyurem and Chien-Pao. Tera water is an option for teams that wish to preserve Raging Bolt's ability to check Gholdengo after tera while still providing a neutral typing at the cost of its matchup into Ogerpon forms.
  • The given spread allows raging bolt to live two Blizzards from 252+ Assault Vest Kyurem and has a 93.7% chance of living Adamant Chien-pao Icicle Crash.
  • Assault Vest Raging Bolt leverages its dragon typing incredibly well against Ogerpon forms, capable resisting both STABs and trading incredibly well back into them with Thunderbolt/Draco Meteor or taking time to debuff their partners with snarl or electroweb. Raging Bolt's Electric Typing makes it an incredibly potent switch-in to Gholdengo and Iron Crown's Steel moves, capable of doing solid damage with snarl and greatly hindering their damage output while largely ignoring their most common partners in Ogerpon and Indeedee-Female respectively. Access to priority incredible bulk and Snarl also makes AV Raging Bolt a premier check to Trick Room special attackers, notably using Torkoal's own sun against it for a damage boost and being able to Thunderclap it for strong damage to mitigate Eruption damage while resisting Fire attacks. Snarl also hinders common psyspam users in trick room like Hatterene and Hoopa-Unbound.
  • Raging Bolt greatly benefits from partners like Ogerpon-W and Chien-Pao that can deal with the powerful ground types of the format, as even with Snarl access and assault vest bulk Lando-I and Ursaluna-BM can quickly break it down.
  • Teammates like Diancie, Alolan-Ninetales and Rillaboom that appreciate help shutting down special attackers like Gholdengo, Tornadus and Chi-Yu also make for great partners with Snarl AV Raging Bolt. Teammates that can provide healing such as Sinistcha and Amoonguss also appreciate AV Bolt's ability to slow down the pace of games with Snarl and provide space to heal the team with.
  • While not greatly threatened by them, AV Raging Bolt struggles to make meaningful progress against some of the tiers bulkiest physical attackers such as Ting-Lu, Kingambit and Iron Hands. All of these pokemon are largely unphazed by any disruptive or damaging tools Bolt can offer and will require other pieces of the team to deal with them.
  • AV Raging Bolt can struggle into Chien-Pao, who can Sucker Punch to circumvent Thunderclap's priority and can threaten more damage than Bolt would usually like to trade off with STAB ice moves.

Could be wrong here but I think that the overview section is not needed since you are only discussing one set. I think this intro can be bumped down into the set comments with overview section removed.

[SET COMMENTS]
  • Thunderclap provides Raging Bolt with a strong priority move to clean up weakened foes and circumvent its middling speed stat and opposing speed control. Might be worth a mention here that thunderclap is bolt's sig move.
  • Draco Meteor is Raging Bolt's strongest attack, allowing it to OHKO some of the tiers many prominent dragons such as Gouging Fire, Dragonite and Roaring Moon and providing a solid way to chunk incoming ground types such a Lando-I.
  • Thunderbolt is Raging Bolt's most consistent STAB move, allowing it to OHKO max HP Tornadus with the given evs (AC) and 2HKO teraed terastallized Ogerpon-Wellspring.
  • Snarl is a fantastic disruptive tool that allows raging bolt to prevent opposing special attackers from making significant progress, exploiting Raging bolt's stellar bulk and typing to enter battle against common supportive pieces in Ogerpon how does snarl facilitate switching into ogerpon? Might want to clarify that you mean hindering Oger's teammates and Tornadus as well as common special attacking threats in Chi-yu, Gholdengo and Iron Crown. Snarl makes great progress into these the aforementioned threats and their most common supporters (AC) with good damage output and a titanic Hp HP bar on raging bolt Raging Bolt preventing these special-attacking targets from muscling through too easily.
  • Snarl also makes it difficult for common special breakers Landorus, Ursaluna-Bloodmoon and Regidrago to find comfortable entry points on Raging Bolt (AP) Can this be combined into the previous bullet? Seems odd that snarl is broken up into two points when the point was made a bit earlier about switching into and forcing disruption against special threats.
  • Electrowebs (remove s) is a good disruptive option to hinder speed control from Tornadus, hitting both slots for solid STAB damage and making it difficult for non-ground opponents to find safe entry.
  • Volt Switch is an option to allow raging bolt to act as a pivot, using its great bulk and low speed to provide safe entry points for aggressive partners such as Lando-I and Chien-Pao against targets such as Gholdengo.
  • I think you can add a bullet here explaining why one would choose snarl, ewebs, or volt switch over another, as 3 options for this last slot can be a bit muddy, you explain why each move is good into the metagame, but I think that you could describe why/what kind of structures may warrant one over another. Not a necessary addition but I think it could add some value.
  • Tera Fairy is Raging Bolt's choice tera type, making it immune to the numerous opposing dragon threats in the tier (like what?) and leveraging its ability to threaten them back while providing useful neutrality into Ground and Ice attacks. Tera water is an option for teams that wish to preserve raging bolt's Raging Bolt's ability to check Gholdengo after tera while still providing a neutral typing at the cost of its matchup into ogerpon Ogerpon formes. (add e)
  • The given spread allows raging bolt to live two Blizzards from 252+ Assault Vest AV probably doesn't need mentioned here? unless you are trying to differentiate from specs (bad set) Kyurem and has a 93.7% chance of living Adamant Chien-pao Icicle Crash.
  • Assault Vest Raging Bolt leverages its dragon typing incredibly well against ogerpon forms, capable resisting both STABs and trading incredibly well back into them with Thunderbolt/Draco Meteor or taking time to debuff their partners with snarl or electroweb. Raging Bolt's Electric Typing makes it an incredibly potent switch-in to Gholdengo and Iron Crown's Steel moves, capable of doing solid damage with snarl Snarl and greatly hindering their damage output while largely ignoring their most common partners in Ogerpon and Indeedee-Female (pretty sure it is just F, you may need to double check here) respectively. Access to priority incredible bulk and snarl Snarl also makes AV raging Bolt a premier check to Trick Room special attackers, notably using Torkoal's own sun against it for a damage boost.
  • Raging Bolt greatly benefits from partners like Ogerpon-Wellspring (just W) and Chien-Pao that can deal with the powerful ground types of the format, as even with snarl Snarl access and assault vest Assault Vest bulk Lando-I and Ursaluna can quickly break it down. I think you could make each of these blurbs a separate bullet point as this is a bit wordy and can help with readability. Teammates like Diancie, Alolan-Ninetales (AC) and Rillaboom that appreciate help shutting down special attackers like Gholdengo, Tornadus (AC) and Chi-Yu also make for great partners with AV Raging Bolt. Teammates that can provide healing such as Sinistcha and Amoonguss also appreciate AV Bolt's ability to slow down the pace of games with Snarl and provide space to heal the team with. Incineroar is worth a mention in this partners section, as it aides in Bolt's physical bulk.
  • While not greatly threatened by them, AV pretty sure you have to type out Assault Vest Raging Bolt struggles to make meaningful progress against some of the tiers bulkiest physical attackers such as Ting-Lu, Kingambit (AC) and Iron Hands. All of these pokemon are largely unphazed by any disruptive or damaging tools Raging Bolt can offer and will require other pieces of the team to deal with them.
  • AV see above Raging Bolt can struggle into Chien-Pao, who can sucker punch Sucker Punch to circumvent Thunderclap's priority and can threaten more damage than bolt Raging Bolt would usually like to trade off.

Great work, can mark 1/2 once implemented. I would check some of the abbreviations you use and capitalizations for analyses as I'm unsure on some of them and will make your life a bit easier later.

[OVERVIEW]
Assault Vest Raging Bolt makes the most of its titanic statline to check a variety of threats in the tier while leveraging disruptive utility moves to dictate the pace of battle for its teammates. Its monstrous Special Attack stat allows it to put out high damage with minimal investment and focus on maximizing its bulk, stat checking a large variety of special attackers present in the format. However, Raging Bolt sports an abysmal matchup against Landorus-Incarnate and a poor matchup into Ursaluna-Bloodmoon, two of the most common special breakers in the format, being unable to threaten enough damage to incapacitate them and unable to use its powerful Electric STAB moves safely around them. Additionally, Raging Bolt's weakness to Ice and Dragon moves and low speed leaves it vulnerable to Ice types and other dragons in the format, having to rely on its titanic bulk or burn tera to survive these matchups. Overall while Raging Bolt's impressive stats and excellent movepool give it a fantastic toolkit that can impact almost any board, its typing hinders it into a large portion of the Doubles metagame's strongest attackers and prevents it from being truly elite.

[SET COMMENTS]
  • Thunderclap is a useful strong priority attack to clean up weakened foes and circumvent Raging Bolt's middling Speed stat and opposing teams' speed control.
  • Draco Meteor is Raging Bolt's strongest attack, allowing it to OHKO some of the tier's many prominent Dragon-types such as Gouging Fire, Dragonite, and Roaring Moon and providing a solid way to chunk incoming Ground-types such as Landorus.
  • Thunderbolt is Raging Bolt's most consistent STAB move, allowing it to OHKO maximum HP Tornadus with the given EVs and 2HKO Terastallized Ogerpon-W.
  • Snarl is a fantastic disruptive tool that allows Raging Bolt to prevent opposing special attackers from making significant progress, letting it exploit its stellar bulk and typing to enter battle against common special attacking threats in Chi-Yu, Gholdengo, and Iron Crown. Snarl also makes it difficult for common special wallbreakers like Landorus, Ursaluna-B, and Regidrago to find entry points on Raging Bolt to remove it, having their damage severely reduced if they switch in directly.
  • Electroweb is a good disruptive STAB option to hinder speed control from Tornadus, hit both foes for solid damage, and make it difficult for non-Ground-types to find safe entry.
  • Volt Switch is an option to allow Raging Bolt to use its great bulk and low Speed to act as a pivot, providing safe entry points for aggressive partners such as Landorus and Chien-Pao against targets such as Gholdengo.
  • Snarl is a great option for bulky structures centered around Pokemon like Diancie and Okidogi that don't like facing the tier's common special wallbreakers. Electroweb is typically best on teams centered around strong wallbreakers like Landorus and Ogerpon-H that focus on maintaining a Speed advantage to burst through enemy teams. Volt Switch is best on offensive teams that appreciate Raging Bolt's fantastic bulk to slowly pivot and bring in devastating threats like Choice Scarf Chi-Yu and Chien-Pao.
  • Tera Fairy is recommended to make Raging Bolt immune to STAB attacks from the plentiful amount of Dragon-types in the format, including Regidrago, opposing Raging Bolt, and Dragonite, and leverage Raging Bolt's ability to threaten them back; Tera Fairy also provides useful neutralities against Ground- and Ice-type attacks from Landorus, Kyurem, and Chien-Pao. Tera Water is an option for teams that wish to preserve Raging Bolt's ability to check Gholdengo while still providing a neutral typing against ground attacks at the cost of its matchup against the Ogerpon formes and Rillaboom.
  • The given EV spread allows Raging Bolt to survive two Blizzards from 252 modest assault vest Kyurem and almost always withstand Adamant Chien-Pao's Icicle Crash.
  • Assault Vest Raging Bolt leverages its Dragon typing incredibly well against the Ogerpon-Heartflame and Wellspring by resisting both STAB moves, which allows it to trade incredibly well with them using strong neutral STAB attacks.
  • Raging Bolt is an incredibly potent switch-in to Gholdengo and Iron Crown, as it resists their Steel-type moves and uses Snarl to do solid damage and greatly reduce their damage output, all while largely ignoring their most common partners in Ogerpon and Indeedee-F, respectively. Raging Bolt's incredible bulk and access to priority and Snarl also make it a premier check to Trick Room special attackers, notably using Torkoal's own sun against it for a damage boost and being able to strongly damage it with Thunderclap to mitigate Eruption damage while resisting Fire-type attacks. Snarl also irritates fullroom psyspam users like Hatterene, Necrozma and Hoopa-U by lowering their damage output and wasting trick room turns, greatly disrupting their gameplan.
  • Raging Bolt greatly benefits from Pokemon that can deal with the powerful Ground-types of the format, as even with Snarl access and Assault Vest, Landorus and Ursaluna-B can quickly break it down. Some ideal partners include Ogerpon-W and Chien-Pao.
  • Teammates like Diancie, Alolan Ninetales, and Rillaboom appreciate Assault Vest Raging Bolt's help in shutting down special attackers like Gholdengo, Tornadus, and Chi-Yu with Snarl. Teammates that can provide healing such as Sinistcha and Amoonguss also appreciate Raging Bolt's ability to slow down the pace of games with Snarl and provide space to heal the team .
  • While not greatly threatened by them, Assault Vest Raging Bolt struggles to make meaningful progress against some of the tier's bulkiest physical attackers such as Ting-Lu, Kingambit, and Iron Hands. All of these Pokemon are largely unfazed by any disruptive or damaging tools Raging Bolt can offer and will require other pieces of the team to deal with them.
  • Assault Vest Raging Bolt can struggle against Chien-Pao, which can use its fast Sucker Punch to circumvent Thunderclap's priority and can massively damage Bolt with powerful physical STAB Ice-type moves.
