Additionally, it has access to good offensive options and Future Sight, letting it support and enable offensive teammates. Additionally, Future Sight can help break Substitute from the likes of Baxcalibur and Iron Moth, preventing them from having opportunities to sweep. Psychic can be used over Future Sight as a more consistent alternative, providing more immediate pressure against the likes of Zamazenta, Toxapex, Amoonguss, and Iron Moth. Flamethrower hits Steel-types like Gholdengo, Kingambit, and Corviknight that can otherwise snuff out Future Sight. Surf is key for hitting Pokemon like Landorus-T and Heatran, 2HKOing the former, while also hitting Great Tusk and Iron Moth without having to rely on Future Sight. Alternatively, Ice Beam wrecks Landorus-T, Great Tusk, and Garchomp while also hitting the likes of Dragapult and Dragonite. Assault Vest Galarian Slowking is a potent specially defensive pivot thanks to its access to good offensive options and Future Sight, this is very confusing, saying its a good defensive pivot because of its offensive options. Id start by listing qualities that make it a good defensive pivot (bulk, Regenerator, typing) and then add on that it has good offensive options letting it support offensive teammates. In addition to enabling offensive threats, Future Sight can help break Substitute from the likes of Baxcalibur and Enamorus Iron Moth, making them prone to being overwhelmed throughout the course of a game. preventing them from having opportunities to sweep. (these arent really Pokemon you "overwhelm", instead fs stops them from sweeping. Psychic can be used over Future Sight as a more consistent alternative, having more immediate pressure against the likes of Toxapex, Amoonguss, and Iron Valiant Moth. Sludge Bomb hits val, psychic is great into moth though, preventing it from overwhelming you or playing around fs with sub Flamethrower hits Steel-types like Gholdengo, Kingambit, and Corviknight that can otherwise snuff out Future Sight. Surf is key for hitting Pokemon like Landorus-Therian, Ting-Lu, and Heatran, 2HKOing the former. Surf does so little to ting lu you'd be better off fishing for poison or switching out in fear of eq Alternatively, Ice Beam wrecks Landorus-Therian and Garchomp while also hitting the likes of Dragapult and Dragonite.
