Stomping Tantrum is required for Heatran and bulky Poison-types like Galarian Slowking and Toxapex, while Will-O-Wisp is useful for denying would-be checks like Landorus-T and Garchomp from freely staying or switching in. Alternatively, Encore can be used over Will-O-Wisp to disrupt setup sweepers like Tapu Fini and Venomicon. Electric-types of your own are great partners as well, as Astrolotl can often burn the opponent's Ground-type and pave the way for a teammate like Bulk Up Zeraora or Calm Mind Tapu Koko to win. These teammates can also keep pressure up against opposing bulky Water-types for Astrolotl in return. Bulkier, slower Pokemon like Venomicon and Calm Mind Tapu Fini are massive benefactors of Astrolotl's Spikes support and its ability to often draw out longer games. Tapu Fini has worse longevity overall but is still notable for preventing Astrolotl from burning it, being able to remove its Spikes with Defog and potentially crippling utility sets with Trick. Rotom-W and Swampert are also nice answers, being able to stay healthy with Pain Split and Rest, respectively.

Lando Toxicing stuff is also crazy good for astro cause Toxic+Lash wears down everything super fast. They also form a pretty nasty pivot core together, so I think Lando is deserving of its own sentence in this section)

I think saying Astrolotl sets Spikes against Landorus-T is misleading; I know you're implying that burning it means you aren't as worried about its Earthquake, but you're still 2HKOed and don't threaten it back quickly enough.

Swampert runs Rest a fair amount of the time in my experience, so I don't think saying its longevity is worse than Slowbro's is all that accurate.

You note earlier that Astrolotl is a good Knock Off absorber when running Choice Scarf; this makes me question your mention of it being weak to the move.
