hi, i'm aurora. i have always been fascinated by art, and it has always been a goal of mine to improve my drawing game. i really enjoy drawing, but i am not very good at it. like, at all. after ages of thinking about taking things a bit more seriously and really trying to put in the effort to improve but never really committing to it, i bought myself a one by wacom tablet and clip studio licence the other day and have been trying to draw stuff when i have free time. i want to catalogue things i draw over time someplace that isn't discord, so here we are. i'll add more as i go.
i was asked by someone to draw gossifleur driving a moped. at the skill level i'm at, drawing a barely convincing moped would have required me to trace, which i don't want to do, so i decided to try drawing gossifleur trying to drive a unicycle. gossifleur likely feels the same way i did when i realised drawing a moped unassisted would be impossible. i tried to use this https://circusstuff.com.au/wp-content/uploads/2023/06/3184.jpg (and a vitamin container lying on its side) as a reference to help draw the unicycle. the wheel ended up looking like it belongs in an optical illusions book but whatever.
this week, i lost to cb diglett one too many times in adv lc. i then set about thinking, "how would diglett wear a choice band"? this image aims to contribute to the discourse surrounding this question.
