Assault Vest Zeraora is an effective pivot and supportive Pokemon in the Doubles metagame thanks to Volt Switch, decent bulk, and solid utility moves like Fake Out, Knock Off, and Snarl. Access to these three moves as well as a better Speed tier set Zeraora apart from its main competitor, Tapu Koko. Speaking of Tapu Koko, Zeraora is able to nearly completely shut it down thanks to Volt Absorb. The EV spread lets Zeraora outpace Mega Manectric as well as survive a Bloom Doom from -1 Attack Kartana or a Rain-boosted Hydro Vortex from Kingdra. You should take into account that this Zeraora lacks firepower, so strong offensive partners are appreciated a lot. Setup sweepers like Zygarde and Mega Latias enjoy support from Zeraora's Fake Out and Snarl. The likes of Kyurem-B and Incineroar can deal with Grass-types, which Zeraora struggles with; the former also threatens Ground-types, as do Tapu Fini and Kartana.
