long ago, the four nations lived together in harmony. Then, everything changed when the fire nation attacked.

only the avatar, master of all four elements, could stop them, but when the world needed him most, he vanished.

I am exiled prince Zuko, I need to find this avatar to prove I am worthy to my father! I just can't find my uncle iroh right now...

the fire nation soldier looks into the mirror. staring back is the face of a heartless killer.

since the young age of 5. little james always wanted to make movies. he would draw blue people in his school notebook. “they should have tails “ he said, drawing a tail on the blue people. “one day” he thinks “one day ill make a movie about the blue people”

fast forward, james was enlisted in the fore nation military. he tried getting into their war propaganda movie department, but they said his ideas were too depressing. so instead they put him on Zuko’s ship because Zuko is “dramatic”

James remembers Zuko telling him about his uncle. uncle Iroh loves movies, you know? James wants to find uncle Iroh so he can make a movie, but first we must find the avatar

hey this is a roleplay you can be whoever you want
okay great does anyone remember literally anything from the Avatar blue people movie? I would like to roleplay but the lack of cultural impact from the highest-grossing movie of all time is shocking

I’m being dead-ass serious when I said I watched it on my PS2 and that was more memorable than the actual movie.

I remember 0 character names or motivations, I just remember that the main guy turns into one of the blue people (I think the name of the race is the Navi, that just came to me actually) via some machine. And that the logo is in Papyrus font. And there’s something about the ends of their hair that’s special/magical/I think they can connect to each other. I don’t know if the post referencing “unobtanium” is legit or just a bit because that does not sound familiar to me.

That’s all I got

I also had the experience of seeing it in theaters and completely forgetting everything about it. Like COMPLETELY, to an extent far beyond what you'd expect from the normal passage of time. I think Avatar is just uniquely forgettable, something about it is just incompatible with human memory. It is alien to our brains, fittingly enough.

Later I watched the Jenny Nicholson video about Avatar Land and I have much clearer memories of that. So I guess I know some things about Avatar through osmosis. I think they can connect their hair to the alien world tree, like their dreads work like a cable that you can plug in.
