[OVERVIEW]
* Azumarill has a great typing, that it can utilize well both offensively and defensively.
* Azumarill has two amazing abilities in Sap Sipper and Huge Power. Sap Sipper makes its great typing even better and Huge Power makes it insanely strong, with maximum attack investment its attack becomes effectively higher than Baxcalibur's.
* Azumarill has great defensive stats, and due to being run with Huge Power or as a full support Pokemon, its low attack stat is not a big deal.
* Sap Sipper Azumarill is almost always paired with Gothitelle, because thanks to Shadow Tag you can trap the opponent in while using Perish Song and nearly guarentee getting it off with Azumarill, because of Gothitelle's Fake Out.
* Huge Power Azumarill uses its amazing typing and offensive stats after Huge Power to kill common Pokemon, like Garchomp, Murkrow, and Volcorona.

*Aqua Jet is nice priority allowing it to pick up Pokemon at low health. Ice Spinner is mainly paired with Assault Vest, allowing Azumarill to hit Amoonguss hard. Perish Song is very good at beating Dondozo, because its already trapped in and Azumarill can take Dondozo's hits very well and easily stall 3 turns. Belly Drum though usable, is often not used because of many teams having tools to counter stat boosting, intended for Dondozo.
* Assault Vest allows Azumarill to do an even better job at taking hits from special attackers, like Gholdengo and Hydreigon. Sitrus Berry is nice recovery on a bulky Pokemon and also allows it to use Perish Song, Protect and Belly Drum. If both Assault Vest and Sitrus Berry are taken Mystic Water is also a good option.
* Though usually slow and bulky like in the set, Azumarill can also run speed EVs when paired with tailwind, to outspeed common Pokemon like Garchomp, Maushold and Meowscarada.
* Water helps make both its Liquidation and Aqua Jet even stronger, whereas Grass gives it an immunity to powder moves and a resistance to 2 previous weaknesses which is also valuable.
