[OVERVIEW]
While Azurill's huge Attack stat and rare typing may seem enticing at first glance, a closer look reveals its biggest flaws: terrible Speed, mediocre bulk, a very shallow movepool, and a lack of Fairy-type STAB moves. After considering these factors, Azurill's niche is almost non-existent due to the existence of Bunnelby, a far more effective offensive Normal-type because of its significantly better Speed tier and coverage options. While Azurill’s very lacking Speed may make it seem like a decent pick on Trick Room teams, there are far better options that are able to set Trick Room themselves or more easily switch into play; in addition, Trick Room is not considered a viable archetype in LC. You're almost always better off running a more reliable Normal-type wallbreaker such as Bunnelby or even Meowth.

[SET COMMENTS]
The set aims to take advantage of Trick Room's limited turns by maximizing Azurill’s offensive presence and minimizing its Speed. Access to Huge Power and salvageable coverage allows Azurill to perform decently well as a Trick Room sweeper, especially because it is one of Trick Room team's few physical options. However, even on Trick Room teams, it finds itself outclassed by sweepers that can set up Trick Room and take advantage of it for themselves, such as Spritzee, and outside of Trick Room, it finds itself entirely outclassed by Meowth and Bunnelby.
