Badged users get more images in their posts

Basically, the limit is 100 images per post for all members. I think that badged members should be allowed more as an additional perk of being a respected member of the forum, maybe somewhere around 200-250. It not only allows badged members to enjoy their badges (say, a warstory), but also encourages other members to contribute to the site because of the additional perks.

If not, that's fine.

I honestly don't understand the merit in using post/postbit limitations to "encourage" contributions. It just seems really counterintuitive and punishment-based. I guess there's the question of whether randomuser16 is going to use expanded privileges in an appropriate manner, but other than that I just don't see the point.

Pertaining to this particular suggestion, I don't understand why any poster would ever want to put more than 100 images into his/her post. That seems like the kind of post that would, intentionally or otherwise, serve only to annoy people.

Trade threads and warstories are examples of posts where 100 images would not be obnoxious, and badged users would be expected not to abuse this privilege to the point that it would annoy readers.

well obviously a reasonable cap is needed for all members, but since people that might want to make warstories suddenly reach their cap after trying to fill a slightly longer than average battle with pictures, maybe the cap for all users might be able to expand instead? 150 is definitely a boost.

Sadly, the maximum is global and, as far as I know, there is no way to set an override for badged members. My advice would be to do the same thing that they do in the wifi forum -- use multiple posts :(
