Another OU Team. Skip the intro, lets get down to buisness.
Special Sweeper
Keldeo @Life Orb Leftovers
Ability: Justified
Shiny: Yes
EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
- Calm Mind
- Scald
- Secret Sword
- Focus Blast Substitue
The first Pokemon on my team. This is a Calm Mind set that's designed to have both good Sp Defense and Sp Atk while being fast to KO most Pokemon that are slower than it. Hiding behind a sub with lefties on top of having good Sp Defense makes this Keldo an ideal defensive sweeper. Also I'm not very sure whether I should keep Keldoe or get rid of him for a better sweeper can you help me on that?
Physical Sweeper
Landorus-Therian @ Leftovers
Ability: Intimidate
EVs: 56 HP / 220 Atk / 232 Spe
Adamant Nature
- Swords Dance
- Rock Polish
- Earthquake
- Stone Edge
This is a double dancing Landorus. The main reason I chose it was to cover Keldeo's Electric and Flying weaknesses, and because I didn't have a Physical Attacking Pokemon. It has some extra bulk on top of Intimidate so it helps it quite alot. Also, I've been debating on whether I should switch out Rock Polish for Knock Off? Or maybe give him sub?
Physical Sweeper v2
Charizard @ Charizardite X
Ability: Blaze
EVs: 252 Atk / 252 Spe / 4 HP
Jolly Nature
- Fire Punch
-Brick Break Dragon Dance
- Dragon Claw
- Thunder Punch
I was having problems facing these guys, and like they say, if you can't beat them, join them.Mega Zard X is a pretty diverse Pokemon, so I took advantage of it, I gave it all attacking moves Brick Break wasn't doing much for me (obviously, I don't even know why I chose it in the first place) so I gave it Dragon Dance to make it a better sweeper. I don't like trading power for recoil, so I didn't give it Flare Blitz. Same thing could be said about Outrage and Dragon Claw except with confusion. And before you think Thunder Punch is redundant coverage (ahem), it's for sweeping Azumarills that think they can stop my sweep. It doesn't have EQ because another Pokemon already has EQ and is a Ground type itself.
Special Defender
Porygon2 @ Eviolite
Ability: Trace
Shiny: Yes
EVs: 252 HP / 4 SpA / 252 SpD
Calm Nature
- Tri Attack
- Recover
- Thunder Wave
- Ice Beam
Now comes the defensive side of my team. This set is incredibly good for OU because it can wall almost any foe it comes up against that isn't Fighting, can cripple it, and can recover when it's health gets low on top of easily KOing Gliscor. And as a bonus, Tri Attack can Burn or Freeze. It can at the least weaken up and cripple most Pokemon it comes up against pretty badly, and it's always a great Pokemon to have on a team.
Stall Breaker
Mew @ Leftovers
Ability: Synchronize
Shiny: Yes
EVs: 252 HP / 104 Def / 152 Spe
Impish Nature
- Taunt
- Soft-Boiled
- Will-O-Wisp
- Knock Off
Do you know what I hate? Stall. So I got Mew. This guy is just made to piss off anyone who uses a stalling Pokemon. It can Knock Off their item, prevent them from using any move that isn't an attack, burn them, and then heal up. It needs speed to go for Taunt and Soft-Boiled first, so it has some Speed EVs. Its stas are all around solid so it can be a good defender.
Utility / Physical Defender
Ferrothorn @ Leftovers
Ability: Iron Barbs
Shiny: Yes
EVs: 252 HP / 88 Def / 168 SpD
Sassy Nature
IVs: 0 Spe
- Stealth Rock
- Leech Seed
- Gyro Ball
- Thunder Wave
The last Pokemon I chose was Ferrothorn. I chose Stealth Rock over Spikes for 2 reasons. 1. Spikes takes 2 turns to set up instead of one. 2. Spikes doesn't hit all types, SR does. Leech Seed is for sapping some health, Gyro Ball is for helping Leech Seed slowly kill the enemy, and Thunder Wave is for pesky Pokemon that Ferrothorn gets switched in on such as Heatran or Charizard. I would give it Protect instead, I don't know which one I should go for (help me on that by the way) but it starts to bother me when I use Ferrothorn.
If you are going to tell me to use a different set or Pokemon, please include the set (full details) of the Pokemon in your post. Thank you.
