balanced (?) ou team

balanced ou team

plan on making this irl so I really don't want to go through the trouble breeding to get the right hidden power. and no event pokemon too

450.png

Hippowdon@leftovers
sand stream
impish (+def -sp.a)
252 hp/168 def/88 sp.d
-stealth rock
-roar
-slack off
-earthquake
awesome physical wall, stealth rock user, and roar to ruin baton pass/setup
teams and to keep spikes/stealth rock damage going. slack off is to keep him
alive longer and earthquake is for dealing damage

073.png

Tentacruel@black sludge
liquid ooze
calm (+sp.d -atk)
252 hp/120 def/136sp.d
-toxic spikes
-rapid spin
-sludge bomb
-surf
great wall mostly for special, toxic spikes, and rapid spinner. very useful
pokemon i am using for a lot of different things, so i need to swap when a
counter to tentacruel comes in. sludge bomb/surf for some damage

094.png

Gengar@life orb
levitate
timid (+spe -atk)
252 sp.a/252 spe/4 def
-shadow ball
-thunderbolt
-focus blast
-substitute
a great late game special sweeper, so this isn't a sacrificing lead, I
also need to save him to immune rapid spins later. Substitute to damage
switch ins better and set up.

Spr_4p_485.png

Heatran@choice scarf
flash fire
naive (+spe -sp.d)
252 sp.a/252 spe/4 hp
-flamethrower
-earth power
-dragon pulse
-explosion
my 2nd special sweeper and the only choice scarf pkmn. heatran can do
some serious damage and most importantly can kill steel pokemon like
forretress. explosion for the lulz

Spr_4h_130_m.png

Gyarados@lum berry
intimidate
adamant (+atk -sp.a)
156 hp/72 atk/96 def/184 spe
-dragon dance
-taunt
-waterfall
-stone edge
awesome taunt pokemon and my favorite dragon dancer. also goes with
electivire in the grayavire combo. physical sweeper that covers some great
pokemon and can taunt walls to kill them

466.png

Electivire@expert belt
motor drive
adamant (+atk -sp.a)
252 atk/252 spe/4 hp
-thunderpunch
-ice punch
-cross chop
-earthquake
comes in on electric moves and is a solid physical sweeper. 4 great types
each dealing a lot of damage with adamant and expert belt. I decided against
using mix sweeper since i'm doing 2 walls, 2 physical, and 2 special.

Rokman, if you plan on having Gengar as your sweeper/spin blocker, then I would advise that you not use it as a lead. It's bound to get raped by a Pursuit Tyranitar. Judging by the movesets, it's probably not going to be a good lead anyway.

A decent lead would be Spiritomb, Azelf, Aerodactyl or Roserade.

Try out Hippo as the lead so he can set up rocks and is in general a good starter. Gengar should get rid of Hypnosis in favor of Substitute so he can damage switch ins easier.

Swampert seems like it would be a big problem for you to face since none of your pokemon have grass attacks and all take a lot of damage from it. The sole pokemon that can switch in (Gyarados) is stealth rock weak and gets hurt by sandstorm so he won't last long. The best solution to this is to set up toxic spikes ASAP, making use of Rapid Spin and possibly putting Leftovers on Gyarados. Another good idea might be to put Giga Drain on Gengar. Just play around with it and see what works best.

If you don't want to try that then consider making Electrivre mixed with HP Grass and see how that works out. Cross Chop and Earthquake offer redundant coverage so it is probably for the best to replace one of those for HP Grass. Overall not the most solid team so try and see what works and what doesn't here. Good luck to you.
