- Blaziken
- Espathra
- Kingambit
Blaziken should be no surprise as it has always been a menace in Monotype formats. With speed boost + a solid speed tier it outpaces the entirety of the metagame. Additionally with Swords Dance + great stab and excellent coverage, Thunder Punch allows it to target Water-types such as Pelipper, Earthquake allows it to hit Electric-types such as Tapu Koko, and Knock Off allows it to target Ghost- and Psychic-types like Spectrier and Latios.
Espathra similarly to Blaziken pushes itself over the top with the ability Speed Boost, however it does not need a ton of coverage to succeed. As it has access to Calm Mind and Stored Power, which when paired with its ability allows it to become unwallable in no time. Dazzling Gleam allows it to target Dark-types such as Mega Sableye, while Roost allows it to recover off damage fairly easily. Tapu Lele and Mega Gallade annihilate every Dark- and Steel-type for Espathra allowing it to win games without much resistance. Tapu Lele's Psychic Terrain just makes it even harder to take down.
Who could have guessed an evolution of Bisharp would be broken! In all seriousness, Supreme Overlord's ability to boost its attack, paired with Swords Dance, Sucker Punch, and Darkinium Z allows Kingambit to hit like a truck. This supported by Steel and Dark teams fantastic defensive support makes Kingambit very hard to kill, while giving it prime opportunities to come in and pick up a kill.
