[SET COMMENTS]
Thanks to Barraskewda's incredible Speed and stellar Attack, Barraskewda becomes a solid wallbreaker and revenge killer. While Barraskewda has a stellar offensive prowess, its defenses were delicate, restricting it from pivoting into even resisted hits well. Close Combat provides powerful coverage for the tier, hitting Obstagoon and Kyurem for super effective damage while giving Barraskewda great neutral coverage for Water- types like Keldeo and Rotom-Wash. Crunch gives Barraskewda needed coverage to hit Pokemon who resist Barraskewda's Water STAB and Fighting coverage like Slowking and Starmie, while giving neutral coverage for Tentacruel. Ice Fang is crucial coverage to hit Grass Types like Celebi and Roserade. The recent addition with Flip Turn allows Barraskewda to be an offensive pivot and get out of situations where Barraskewda couldn't hit the aformentioned resisted Pokemon. Choice Band is preferred to boost Barraskewda's already high Attack further, but Mystic Water can be used when using Flip Turn to boost the power of Barraskewda's STAB.
Hazard setters like Skarmory and Roserade are crucial for the success of Barraskewda's wallbreaking prowess, the former can deal with the physical threats that Barraskewda can't handle like Mienshao and Mimikyu, while setting up Stealth Rocks, while the latter can handle bulky and offensive waters that Barraskewda has troubles with like Keldeo and Rotom-Wash and sets up Spikes letting Barraskewda spam Liquidation. Barraskewda also struggles with strong priority like Lycanrock-Dusk Accelrock and Bisharp's Sucker Punch, so checks to them are heavily appreciated like the aformentioned Skarmory and Tsareena, where Tsareena makes for a great Rapid Spinner and can use Triple Axel for Noivern if Barraskewda lacks Ice Fang. Kyurem takes advantage the Grass- types by dispatching them for Barraskewda and of Rotom-Wash with its Substitute set, and Kyurem can handle bulky waters thanks to Freeze Dry. Incineroar can slowly pivot into Barraskewda and allows Barraskewda force switches thanks to Parting Shot.
