Capers tried to make an epic last stand with a Quick Attack+Aqua Tail combo, but as Banzai used Protect to block the incoming damage, Capers simply found itself unable to complete the combo and fainted from exhaustion before he completed the attack!

Note: according to the rules that Deck implemented at the start of the new SotG, in order to execute a combo you must have the energy required to use the two moves being comboed separately. While I did allow the use of the combo (hence why it happened and not an Earthquake), since you didn't have the energy to actually use it you just fainted. I hope this is acceptable (it shouldn't really matter, just would have been a bit more energy for the Protect which will probably be pointless).

Two reffings in two days WHAT IS THIS I DON'T EVEN :O And there's even flavour this time! It's a weekend miracle!

Anyway, Choragon continues to bring the pain to Reef with Iron Head, though the former's recent Barrier helps soften the blow a good deal. Then Reef gets crafty, combining Grass Knot and Ingrain to hit Choragon and trap him! The vines also sucked some nutrients out of the ground, healing Reef a bit while Choragon continued to take damage from poison. Choragon wanted to nail his opponent with a Brick Break, but had to take the time to hack away at the vines instead in order to free himself! This did have the side effect of removing Reef's source of health though, as she recovered from her combo. Now freed, Choragon was able to smack Reef with another Iron Head, but Reef used Recover and healed up the damage and then some.
