My name is DarkSlay, and I'll be your MC and referee for what is expected to be an outstanding battle between two new and upcoming trainers! Let's get this match underway!

ARENA:
A vast Jungle arena with several waterfalls and pools of water. A large quantity of brush and undergrowth fill the vast amounts of land with lots of trees filling the canopy.

ok so we can't give the mantyke too much of an advantage, even if we can breathe underwater. Once safely landlocked, thunder wave the mantyke to fuck it over even if it can get in water. We'll then use agility to keep momentum on our side and finish the round with a dragon pulse

do not let the mantyke get in water and if it somehow gets an ice beam off, use twister as it prepares to fire in order to get it's aim off rather then whatever move is next in line.

Well this is going to be quite an interesting fight. Alright Finn, let's do this!!!

Alright, it seems like our opponent is quite adamant on paralyzing you right off the bat, so let's take advantage of his move and use Ice Beam right off the bat. Next up, I want you to follow up with a Haze to get rid of that Agility and to make things harder for our little dragon friend to see. Last up, I want you to start moving towards one of the waterfalls and blast a Twister at him. Make sure that if he attempts to hit you with his own twister, you counter it with yours.

So:

Don't forget to include the -1 energy cost Twister has for Finn the Mantyke, since he is part Water type.

BEGIN ROUND 1

*swats mosquitoes away* The battle is guaranteed to be a hot one: we're in the middle of a tropical rain forest! Lots of trees and a vast river can be seen directly from the initial playing field. Both Trainers send out their Pokemon, and immediately tension is seen between Finn and Peter.

Immediately, Finn opens its mouth and absorbs all the little possible cool air it can find, charging up a cooling Ice Beam! However, the naughty little Peter notices this, and instead slithers right up next to the river. He summons massive currents to rise from the warm tropical waters, creating a Twister, hoping to disrupt Finn with a massive blast! Twister hits hard, causing Finn to lose its focus and flinch! The Ice Beam swells down, and Mantyke is left in a slightly dazed state.

Peter then starts to squirm rapidly, allowing for his skin to get smoother and less rigid. This raises his Agility to extraordinary levels! However, Finn manages to restore some of the energy gathered from the previous Ice Beam attempt to create an icy Haze to surround Peter! Peter darts back and forth, trying to escape the wall of haze, but cannot seem to find his way out. Unfortunately, Peter becomes worn out from this panicked running and loses his Agility boost, while also getting lost in a wall of Haze, reducing his vision.

Peter, in an effort to find some way to attack Finn, slows his heartbeat down to a mesmerizing rhythm. Deep from within his body, he summons a mighty Dragon Pulse, and aims it straight where the Haze originated from! The Pulse smacks Finn directly on the head for good damage! Furious, Finn decides to play the same tricks as Peter, going into the river and swimming furiously to alter water currents. This once again creates a Twister! The Twister heads right to the middle of the cloudy Haze, hitting Peter for great damage!

Alright, this battle is becoming even more intense, of course, we can work with the stuff that's going on right now.

Alright, Finn, he's bound to use that nasty Thunderwave of his sooner or later, so try and take advantage of the Haze and use Ice Beam! After that use another Ice Beam! And lastly, hit him nice and hard with one last Ice Beam!

If he attempts to use agility or dragon dance during any of those actions, make sure you follow up with Haze instead of Ice Beam. We are slower than him, so regardless of whether or not he T-Waves, we will be able to use Haze and remove any stat boosts/drops.

use extreme speed to hit the mantyke for some damage, then use wrap to bind its wings together and force it to not only fall from the sky, but be unable to hit you at all. Now that it won't be opening its mouth for a bit, use a point blank dragon pulse

BEGIN TURN TWO

Peter, having been hit with a ferocious Twister, shakes his head and stands up. His vision has increased slightly, but he still cannot make out Finn entirely. Peter tightly shrinks its body into a coil shape, and releases himself with ExtremeSpeed! Peter swiftly runs about, his movements creating air currents that eliminate all existing Haze! He locks on to the now present Finn and slams into her, causing serious damage. Finn gasps for air, once again trying to breathe in cold energy to form an Ice Beam! The beam of ice glides towards Peter and directly, hitting Peter for massive super-effective damage!

High in the air, Finn floats purposefully, trying to gather more energy to fire another high-powered Ice Beam at Peter. Peter shakes off the massive hit, but has become slightly more aware and afraid of the beams of ice Finn has been producing. In an effort to warm up its body temperature and avoid another Ice Beam, Peter slithers up to the close Fin and Wraps itself around her! This causes damage after every action and reduces the accuracy of Finn's moves! Peter constricts itself around Finn, tightly grabbing her bird-like fins, causing both Pokemon to plummet down to the surface! Finn spins around rapidly, trying to find the right spot to hit Peter with an Ice Beam while also trying to control her landing spot! She fires off an Ice Beam - but misses! Instead, the Ice Beam hits the river, freezing off one portion of it! Wrap takes its toll on Finn!

As the two Pokemon plummet hard down to the ground, Peter slows down his heartbeat once again, this time in tune with the currently captured Finn, and fires off a nasty Dragon Pulse! This hits Finn hard, increasing the velocity of the fall! Finn once again tries to fire off another Ice Beam, but again misses its target! However, the pressure of the missed Ice Beam alters the path of the fall, plummeting both Finn and Peter right into the thickly frozen section of the river! Both Finn and Peter take Ice Beam damage! The frozen section cracks, plummeting both Pokemon into the water that lies underneath. Wrap takes its toll!

this is really cool and really bad ;L;

we'll start off by using thunder wave to not only make mantyke even slower, but make it harder to break free with shifty strategies. Follow up with two dragon rages and sqeeze the life out of mantyke

if mantyke's prayers to god are answered and frees itself from wrap (it won't), extreme speed the fuck out and out of site, hide behind a waterfall or something that is purple like your skin. you'll be fast enough to get away before it's even out of the water with that attack

Oh my...boy am I in a pickle.

Well, that shouldn't phase us too much. Time to use Agility to slip right out of Peter's Wrap. Since both of us are in water, and fish tend to be more slippery when wet, that means it should be very easy to slide right out of his grasp. However, make sure to watch out of those Dragon Rages. Use your escape to your advantage and shoot a Bubblebeam towards him before he can chase you down (and if possible swallow a few bubbles you shoot to heal yourself a bit =D). This way, his visibility should be obscured while under the water. Since he's probably going to try to Extreme Speed out of there, we're going to try to be a little offensive. If he hides behind a waterfall or somewhere close to water, try to shoot an Ice Beam at him and if possible at the water he is next to, so that he can be frozen. If he tries to hide in something that shares his skin color, attempt to search him out and hit him in the face with an Ice Beam.

If any of the actions fail due to paralysis, try to redo them (except for Bubblebeam if you get out of the water). The idea is that we want to get out of his way and then try to Ice Beam him before he has the chance to respond.

2)Bubblebeam to obscure Peter's vision underwater (and if possible swallow a few bubbles to heal)
3)Ice Beam Peter and the water if he is hiding behind a waterfall OR find him if he is hiding elsewhere and Ice Beam him

BEGIN ROUND THREE

As both Peter and Finn descend into the shallow depths of the river, the two trainers head over to the edge of the water to issue their commands. Peter starts rubbing his body against Finn, locked in a Wrap, and creates a small current of static electricity to instill a Thunder Wave onto Finn! Finn's body cramps up, becoming greatly paralyzed by the small electric current! In an attempt to break free of Peter's grasp, Finn starts to violently shake her body back and forth, raising her Agility! Peter tries to hold on to Finn, using all its strength, but Finn is able to thrust itself about fast enough to untangle itself from Peter, escaping Wrap!

Frantically, Peter starts spinning around in a speedy motion, creating enough energy to escape upstream with an ExtremeSpeed attack! Peter slams into the right side of Finn's fin, causing good damage and sending Finn into a spin. He then escapes with much haste. Finn quickly regroups, and starts repeatedly sucking the surrounding water in and out of its gills, creating a multitude of bubbles to create a BubbleBeam! However, just as Finn is about to send out her bubbles, her fins cramp up, and she becomes fully paralyzed!

Peter quickly dashes upstream, trying to find some way of avoiding Finn. At the very end of the river, there is a large waterfall that gushes from a very high cliff. The waterfall creates a straight wall that falls directly in front of a small ledge that is connects the bottom of the cliff to the river. Peter jumps out of the water and on to the ledge, taking minor evasive action by trying to use the waterfall as cover. Meanwhile, the crippled Finn manages to also work its way upstream, tracking the currents caused by Peter's upstream travels. The tracks stop just short of the front of the waterfall before it fades away. Finn determines that Peter is hiding behind the waterfall, and surfaces to the top of the river to fire off a nasty Ice Beam directed at the center of the waterfall! The beam pierces through the center of the waterfall, hitting Peter directly for massive damage while also freezing the waterfall temporarily! Peter is now trapped behind a wall of ice! This means Finn can't get through to Peter unless the wall of ice is broken, while Peter can't attack Finn either! Break that ice!

Alright Finn! At least we're no longer at a disadvantage! We're going to want to play this battle smartly. First things first, he's going to be able to move first, so he's obviously going to crash through that ice, and we want him to start getting close. So make sure to hit him with an Ice Beam. If it fails due to paralysis, fire another one. However, if not, then hit him with a Supersonic as he get's in range. Make sure that he's very close, because your accuracy is key on this attack. If he attempts to hit you from a distance, punish him with a Twister. Lastly, I want you to use Haze to clear the field of any boosts and to make things harder for him to see.

If you are unable to do anything on action 2 due to paralysis, replace Haze with all possible actions in action 2.

So:
1)Ice Beam
2)Supersonic if he's close enough, or Twister if he's further away, OR Ice Beam if the first Ice beam failed because of paralysis.

BEGIN ROUND FOUR

Brr! It's getting pretty cold for Peter, being surrounded by ice. However, Peter somehow doesn't seem fazed by being trapped at all. In fact, it's apparently playfully sliding back and forth across the frozen bottom of the river! This gives Peter a nice chance to relax, increasing his energy total by 10. From the outside of the waterfall, Finn anxiously watches the silhouette of Peter gliding around. Finn thinks that Peter is trying to break through the ice by ramming into the waterfall, so it prepares a chilling Ice Beam to hit Peter as he smashes through the wall! She waits until the silhouette seems to go right in front of the wall, and fires - but Peter does not come out, and the Ice Beam simply adds more ice to the front layer of the waterfall!

Peter, now chilled and refreshed from a bit of playing around, gets energized and starts amassing a Flamethrower from inside of its belly! The beam of flame bursts through, hitting the waterfall from top to bottom. This thaws out the waterfall, creating massive steams that reduce the accuracy of both Pokemon until the end of the turn! Finn, taken aback by the waterfall's unfreezing, lets out a high pitch voice in an extremely high octave - a Supersonic! The roar of the waterfall flowing, however, drowns out the sound and misses Peter.

Peter, realizing that he's now currently in the open, jumps into the waterfall and starts to swim in and out of the currents, climbing the Waterfall! He stops at the very top of the waterfall, now having a clear view of mostly all of the rain forest and a height advantage against Finn. Finn swirls around in the water, and tries to summon a nasty Twister to carry itself up to Peter and hit with! However, Finn's body becomes cramped, and she is fully paralyzed!

stop mantyke from getting up any further by using twister followed with dragon pulse. Finish the round and make sure it stays down the waterfall with another twister.

if it uses ice beam simply back up until it can't hit you from its angle and twister before it can abuse that chance to climb the waterfall. if it does get up, abandon any plans and dragon dance evasively

Alright Finn, this is going to be tough. He wants to fight hard, but we're going to take this nice and easy.

Since he wants to attempt to hit you with a Twister, make sure that you negate that Twister with a Twister of your own. The winds will be flowing in opposite directions, which, if they have enough force on one another, should cancel out. While the twisters are cancelling one another out, I want you to book it. Try to fly up to the top of that water fall and if possible, use Boiling Water to make things a little heated up for our little serpent friend who's still in that water. Make sure to use Twister if he fires any twisters, so that you can cancel them out. It should give you enough time to make it to the top. After that, he will probably attempt to Dragon Dance, since you made it to the top, so use Haze to get rid of any boosts.

If the paralysis is a problem try to dodge things out with Haze. Just try to make your way to the top. That's our number one goal. We cannot let him have a height advantage.

So:
1)Twister to cancel out his twister.
2)Fly up and Boiling Water OR fire any number of Twisters if he fires any twisters towards you.
3)Haze out any of the DD boosts, since he should be doing that once you get to the top.

BEGIN TURN FIVE

Staring from the top of the waterfall, Peter mischievously laughs as Finn is lefts swimming in the river below. Peter starts to swirl in a clockwise formation, once again creating a mighty Twister! However, Finn also starts swimming in circles, this time in a counter-clockwise fashion. She also creates a Twister! Peter's Twister starts to scale down the waterfall, while Finn's Twister starts to climb up the wall. The two Twisters collide, and two opposite currents stop both Twisters from hitting their targets!

Finn starts flapping its fins wildly, and starts to ascend the cliff. Peter fires off a nasty Dragon Pulse, hitting Finn for a good portion of damage! As Finn hits the top of the waterfall, she fires a piping hot Boiling Water from her mouth! The water hits Peter right in the face, causing it to jump out of the water! The water is so hot, it causes a burn on Dratini! Dratini suffers damage from the burn!

Panicked, Peter starts dancing wildly in circles, initiating a Dragon Dance! Spirits of Dragonite circle around Peter, raising its Attack and Speed by one stage! Finn begins to culminate cold air to let loose a thick Haze! However, Finn's body cramps, and Finn becomes fully paralyzed! Peter starts rubbing its body on the ground, Shedding its Skin and removing the burn caused by Boiling Water!

Alright Finn, this is the final run! Let's finish this nice and strong!

He's probably going to try to evade your attacks, so try to hit him with an Ice Beam. If he tries to escape from this maneuver, follow up with a Haze to negate any boosts he may have. After that, finish him off with another Ice Beam, chase him down if anything.

If any of this fails, go to plan B and try to get into a better position to Ice Beam. Repeat if necessary.

BEGIN ROUND SIX

Peter, extremely weakened, limps its way to the side of the mouth of the waterfall. He places himself in the edge of the river and slides right into the water. He springs up into a coil right and fires himself at full speed forward. This increases the velocity of his swimming to extraordinary levels! He swirls and swirls with this force, creating an ExtremeTwister! The huge twister rages throughout the forest, uprooting numerous trees and flinging around Pokemon left and right! The twister speeds right at Finn, carrying a tree in its swirl. The twister hits Finn for great damage, and the branches of the tree fall on Finn, pinning it to the ground! Finn, greatly weakened by the twister and the trees, raises his head slightly and gasps for all immediately. It sees Dratini in front of it, laughing at her misfortune. She forms a cool current in front of her, and powers up a freezing Ice Beam! The ice beam flies forward, hitting Peter directly! Peter faints!
