playing on stours in 5

edit: got crushed lmao, ggs fuga

edit 2: game 1 i brought an LO HP Ice Mienshao team to beat fuga's usual p2 + gligar teams, probably should have known he wouldnt have been that predictable haha, but w/e. In game, all I really wanted to do was set up Tspikes, keep hazards off, and then pressure his team from there, but I played really bad lmao especially with that Mienshao switch not noticing that P2 traced infiltrator and that he had no reason to switch. Game pretty much went downhill from there since I made that risky play.

game 2 i brought something i was a bit more comfortable with, pretty standard stuff except the WoW Moltres I guess. Fuga brought a fucking camerupt LOL nothing to say there, never seen one in uu before and that shit demolished me. Turn 1 miss sucked, but i really needed to keep Moltres alive so i didn't have any business staying in in the first place.

G1 I basically put massive pressure on his tentacruel by leading off with Machamp, allowing me to get hazards late-game. Somewhere in the mix I tricked his porygon2 with my infiltrator Chandelure; due to getting hazards from machamp pressure + ferroseed's iron barbs, and crippling his p2, I was able to sweep late-game with Mega Shark.

Only unrevealed things were will-o on delure and standard spdef lickilicky (with fire punch for pressure on forry and such, own tempo means it basically walls mega pidgeot for free.

G2 moltres was his biggest threat and I knew he'd think Camerupt couldn't touch it, so I lead with camerupt with the intention of tanking a hurricane and KOing back with ancient power. That went the way I wanted it to, but unfortunately he missed a hurricane. Having a 5-6 lead made it pretty basic from there, SD cobalion w/ volt + specs rotom-c + mega camerupt basically put enough pressure on him for me to win. End-game there was an unfortunate crit against his krookodile with my modest p-z. I don't think it mattered in the long-run, because at that point in the game the momentum was already pretty much mine.

Suicune set was offensive cm. It would've swept him late-game if I got it in, but things just didn't play out that way. Also lol I had hyper beam on p-z.

Lost in 3 good ones, ggs man :)

Game 1: http://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/smogtours-uu-68555 brought some offense but I played pretty bad, also a couple of his spreads threw me off like fast Seismitoad and super fast WoW Rotom-H when I thought I was about to clean up with Mamoswine. Pretty close on nonetheless

Game 2: http://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/smogtours-uu-68561 brought some Omfuga style Beedrill balance and got the matchup with Beedrill and Azelf being able to outspeed pretty much his whole team after I caught his Scarf Rotom-Mow with a Specs Ice Beam.

Game 3: http://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/smogtours-uu-68565 decided to bring a super gimmicky Trick Room team with sets like lead Custap/Metal Burst/Taunt Aggron, Mental Herb TSpikes Cofagrigus, LO Guts Machamp, LO Aromatisse. Unfortunately couldn't break through his Mandibuzz+Florges core. Good games again!

Won 2-1 ggs buddy!

Yeah game 1 I got a really good matchup, Rotom-H beat a lot of his team so I just had to keep it healthy to deal with Mamo and Arcanine while keeping up some offensive pressure. With only Crobat and Whimsi left late-game Doublade could clean up.

Game 2 he made a great prediction to get my Scarf Rotom-C out of the way after which Beel and Absol pretty much had their way with my team.

Game 3 he brought a really fun Trick Room team but one which had a lot of trouble breaking past the defensive core as he said. Still kept me on my toes though, LO Machamp is monstrous lol. Good games!

Regarding the fast Rotom-H I've been using a unique spread that I think gives it the best chance of succeeding in this metagame: max HP to deal with bird, enough Speed for Adamant Luke (so Gatr and Mamo too) and the rest spread between its defenses and Sp Atk as you please. I was also packing a SD Sceptile which I didn't get the chance to show off, it's been really effective in cleaning up offensive teams and sweeping defensive teams after a couple of boosts. Drain Punch is really cool; does a truckload to the likes of Blissey and Lax while keeping healthy at the same time. Toad didn't have any Speed investment btw, it outsped Emp because it has a higher base stat even with a negative nature - 70 to 60 :)

So glad I started this :^) but seriously I will watch these games when I am on the computer but sad to say that I missed them in real time :/
