UPDATE
This will begin on WEDNESDAY @8PM EST. It will be held on SMOGTOURS, NOT IRC. A few things...
There is a room on smog tours set up, join it -
1) You cannot be joined as a guest, you must be logged in (Zebraiken , there's your reminder)
2) Be sure if you exit the showdown client to CLOSE the room, otherwise when you next log back in you'll auto join it.
3) Same rules apply as irc.
4) Have fun!!

Zebraiken got the best character. 
in order to make the room only joinable when logged in on your voiced account, the room has to be hidden (meaning you have to type "/join battleroyale" to enter, and it won't be listed as a room on the selection page). should be good to go now though!
