Lady Bug was able to beat Ciele before deadline but Smogon was down so could not post,
I have logs if necessary, aziki and jumpluff were also present.

Ace gets 1 strike. I suggest you guys battle asap. AM did try to get the match done, so further actions aren't necessary. You guys may not battle ANYONE else until your match is completed.

Edit: Since Aces timer runs out tomorrow and Lady Bug is asleep currently and won't be on till tomorrow, I will give ace until 4pm est to get the match done. If lady bug fails to show up for the match, he will be eliminated as well.


Edit: Since this tournament is 4 days in, and theres already 9 people left with over a week to go, we are gonna take away the 48 hour time limit now. However, the 30 minute grace period will be reduced to 5 minutes now. Thanks.

(For those who may disagree with this decision, the 48 hour rule was implemented to stop people from avoiding matches, however matches have not been a problem, and with only 9 contestants left and soon to be 8 after the AM match, there simply isn't a need for it, as the deadline is still a week away.)

Confirming, got a late crit that might have mattered but it was still a good game.

edit: By the way, I think you need to provide some sort of incentive to make people battle Stone, otherwise most people are just going to wait for everyone else to play and people will just end up not playing... At least, I could easily see that happening.
 
EW the reason I had to replace the rule is because on the spreadsheet the 48 hour rule was misinterpreted. We intended for people to have atleast 1 match every 48 hours, not every 48 hours after their last battle. Meaning that I had to remove it or atleast 3-4 people are eliminated. And if this rule is intact, it's still very hard to get a match done in 48 hours when someone like you is in Australia, Dark Lucario is in Germany, Lady Bug is in UAE, and Eternal is in the US, as well as AM in the UK. Those are 5 different time zones right there.

While I agree that people need an incentive to battle, the tournament is gonna end regardless if they complete the match or not. It's up to you soon to be remaining 7 to get battles done, and while you wanna win, waiting till the deadline to do the final matches is risky as it may end up in a no contest for all of you. Take that into account.

If this tournament goes a few days without a battle, I am sure a certain rule could be implemented, but for now I believe everything will be alright.

AM challenged Eternal in which Eternal didn't respond so he gets a strike. AM notified me he has plans tomorrow so their match will be on saturday unless he has time to battle tomorrow.

Posting in agreement for an incentive. Half the people left are only in this because they waited around for others to get eliminated. I actually would've liked to see some active players in the finals instead of people that have done 1 match in 4 days. Now ew is going to have to hunt them down and hope he doesn't get killed or someone will win this with 2 kills lol
 
Well, considering matches are still being done, I don't think we should speak until challenges stop appearing, but theoretically, one match a day is great. Especially when we started with 42 people.
