Welcome to Smogon! Take a moment to read the Introduction to Smogon for a run-down on everything Smogon, and make sure you take some time to read the global rules.
Back from vacation; highways were closed due to the sheer amount of snow.
Anyway, it seems that the mushroom seems to be intent on healing. The Mega Drains will hurt more than the Absorb, so I'll need you to stay back when the hard-hitting attacks come.
For your first action, I want you to Shadow Sneak through the Shroomish and behind the remains of a building, which will hopefully nullify or weaken the Mega Drain. As Bushido uses Absorb, run forward and take advantage of the Defense drop by slamming the Shroomish with Meteor Mash. Finish that off by repeating your first action; Shadow Sneak through Bushido and to the remains of a building.
Tsuki sneaks into the shadows once again with a Shadow Sneak, and slams into Bushido for good damage! Tsuki appears inside of a hole in a nearby collapsed building, creating cover for it until it decides to attack! Bushido once again gathers energy with a Mega Drain! The shield prevents a few extra damage from getting done, but it still hits for minor damage! Leech Seed takes its toll, but the seeds harmlessly fall to the ground afterwards!
Bushido sees an opening through the wooden pile surrounding Tsuki, and fires a pin-point precise Absorb shot through an opening, which hits Tsuki directly! Tsuki responds by powering up a powerful Meteor Mash, but it gets stiff and becomes fully paralyzed!
Tsuki shakes off its paralyzation a bit, and uses Shadow Sneak to quickly jab at Bushido and head into another rubble-filled ruin! Bushido responds with a Mega Drain, which is again somewhat neutered!
Bushido hits Tsuki hard with an Absorb, which hits for small damage and heals Bushido slightly. Tsuki responds with a nasty Lick, which hits for good damage.
This goes back and forth: Absorb for small damage, and Lick for small damage. Bushido fires off one last Absorb, healing some damage while also putting the final nail in Tsuki's coffin. Tsuki faints!
That Stun Spore won't bode well for you, so you should avoid it if you can!
Scuttle your way behind one of the building ruins. That should allow you to dodge the spore, since the tiny yellow spores obviously can't through buildings, even if it's in ruins. Next, smash Shroomish with a devastating Blizzard. After that, try to avoid the punch by using Acrobat to hit Bushido before it hits you and use your acrobatic skills to leap out of the way.
DarkSlay: If you don't think that diving behind building ruins will prevent the Stun Spore from hitting, replace the action with a Blizzard, and make the second action Tail Glow. If you don't think the Acrobat trick will work... it will. Please?
Out pops Frozo the Syclar! It might not look like much, but this thing definitely has one mean cold shoulder! (Get the pun? No? ...no? :( Okay...) Frozo takes one look at the fearsome Bushido and scurries away out of fright! It hides under a large pile of wood, hoping to block Bushido's first attack. Bushido shakes violently, releasing a heaping portion of Stun Spores out onto the field. The spores surround the wooden panels, but none of them fall into the cracks! Stun Spore missed!
Syclar finally gets its act together and starts to chill its body temperature to subfreezing limits. It conjures up a mighty Blizzard and sends it straight at the unsuspecting Bushido. This hits for massive damage! That's not all: Bushido's entire body is completely frozen! It cannot attack or react unless it manages to thaw off the ice!
Frozo gracefully jumps up and down, displaying its artful Acrobatics, jumping up and down on Bushido's frozen head. This causes great damage! Bushido tries to respond, but can't seem to get the ice off of itself, and cannot use Drain Punch!
Bushido we're in big trouble now! Use Seed Bomb to break out of the Ice, then Double Team four clones while the ice cloud disperses to get some cover! Finish off with a Poison Powder!
22:17DarkSlay Hello Acklow.
22:17DarkSlay I have a favor to ask of you.
22:17DarkSlay It's kind of a gift too, though.
22:18Acklow oh
22:18Acklow what's up?
22:18DarkSlay I need a sub-ref for a match I have halfway completed.
So as you can see (sadly I had to resort to Mibbit, I know, don't hate), I will be taking over as referee for this match. Darkslay said he has been pretty busy lately and has been unable to keep up with CAP ASB, so he wanted me to take over. I will update this post when I get the chance to ref this round. I'll VM/PM you two once I'm finished, of course.
Welcome back to another round of Solstice vs. Engineer Pikachu!!! This is Acklow, your referee, and this root 'n' tootin' battle is now underway again!!
Sostice and Engineer Pikachu are locked in mental combat as their Pokemon are centered in on combat as well. It looks like Bushido is frozen under a thick slab of ice. Frozo is taking this battle with very great amounts of ease. The question many people are asking is: will Bushido be able to last another round? Find out, in THIS ROUND!!!
Engineer Pikachu yells to Frozo, encouraging him on in the fight. Frozo begins to cool the air around the hot Ghost Town. Suddenly, a Blizzard appears, smashing Bushido in an unending fury of hail and snow. The chilly weather attack adds more to the frozen prison that Bushido is in. Bushido, although frozen, tries to Seed Bomb his way out of his frozen bane. Unfortunately, Bushido was unable to release himself. The cryogenic crap-hole blocked the bountiful breakthrough of Bushido's erratic escapade.
Frozo grins to himself. I've got this battle all in the bag, he thought, This should be easy. In his excitement and happiness, his tail began to glow. He begins to grow in massive power thanks to Tail Glow. Bushido realizes that he has no way to get out, freaks out. Solstice yells again to Bushido, the emotion, rising. Bushido fires another round of seeds in the form of Seed Bomb. The power of the bombardment breaks him out of the ice. Shards scattering everywhere.
Frozo once again begins to cool the air around him. Clouds begin to form and eventually another round of frosty weather causes another cruel and powerful Blizzard. The fury of the attack chills Bushido too far, to the point where he falls unconscious. Solstice, realizes that his Pokemon has fainted. What will be his next Pokemon?!
End Round 11!!

Ok, well let's finish with with style! Come on out Equinox the Larvesta! Let's start off by bringing the heat with a Sunny Day! Then use Ember to get some real damage, and then finish off with a strong String Shot it try and blind that ice bug! Fire vs. Ice, the first evolution elemental bug battle!!!
This is just a note saying thanks for updating. Also shouldn't I be at +3 Sp.A?
Well Frozo, it doesn't seem like we'll be dealing much damage to this bug with your special attacks. Luckily, your physical attacks seem to be developing pretty well... First, shoot off a quick Water Pulse before the little bug can get the devastating Sun up. Try and get the water in its eyes so it has some more trouble hitting you. Scuttle behind something that looks like it won't catch on fire before it has a chance to shoot the flames at you, and then send a strong Earth Power towards the Meraruba / Larvesta.
This round of Solstice vs. Engineer Pikachu was brought to you by Tortferngatr's Vitamin Store.
Get those Poke-roids and make your 'Mons reeeelllly reeeelllly STRONGTH!!!!
And here we are, with another round of the CAP ASB match between Sostice and Engineer Pikachu! I'm your host, Acklow, and it looks like this battle is underway. Both trainers are staring each other down to the tee. The mass beatdown taking place in this fight has been making the crowd go wild.
It seems like something is happening right now in this rootin', tootin' ghost of a town. Oh, well look at that, Solstice has sent out a substitution for his injured Shroomish. It, in fact, is a Larvesta that goes by the name, Equinox. Who, yes who, will be at the advantage this round?
Starting this match off, Frozo gathers the humidity in the air from the recent Blizzards. Water particles begin to form, as a ring of water appears in front of Frozo. Frozo fires the resulting Water Pulse straight at the unsuspecting Equinox.
Equinox takes the attack like a champ, though clearly feeling the punishment from such a super-effective attack. Equinox smiles, though, and as if the sun responded to her happiness, the weatherman believes that a Sunny Day is now in effect. The sun is shining down on the arena.
It looks like Frozo has realized that his opponent is about to do something not too good. He quickly skitters away to hide behind an abandoned jailhouse, hoping to escape the wrath of his firey opponent. Equinox's small mouth begins to gather flames.
She spits them out straight towards the jailhouse, and the Embers of the flames cause the jailhouse to start on fire.
The heat of the blaring sun only seems to be convoking the flames even more.
Well folks, it looks like Frozo has been taking this battle by force. Will Solstice and Equinox be able to face an opponent like this with any ease at all? Well, Frozo doesn't seem to be quitting yet. He fires a mental pulse into the earth, and ground beneath Equinox erupts. The Earth Power blasts straight into Equinox's small, furry body, lowering Equinox's Special Defense by one stage!!
Equinox spits on the ground, knowing that Frozo is quite an annoying opponent. She suddenly gets an idea. She scuttles around the jailhouse and then fires a String Shot straight at Frozo, lowering Frozo's Speed by one stage! Folks, it looks like this battle is only about to truly begin!! The question is: who will come out on top?
End Round 12
Field Effects:
The Sun is blaring in the sky.
The abandoned jailhouse is on fire.
Well, now that your tail has stopped glowing, we can start getting crazy with some of our other attacks! Start with a Rock Slide to the Larvesta. If possible, aim the rocks around the bug so that you trap Equinox. Follow that up with an Earth Power, since it really is a shame if we let that nifty Sp.D drop go to waste. Finish the round off with another Rock Slide, aimed directly on top of Equinox; let's see if we can discombobulate the little moth. If at any point the Larvesta attempts to shoot some scary Fire move, replace your action with a scuttle to a building that is not currently burning.
Equinox, looks like it's about time to burn this town to the ground! Whatever building that bug is scuttling into we burn to the ground! If it moves to another one, we burn it to the ground. If there's nothing left to burn to the ground, we burn the stupid ground! Follow it with a strong Ember to start, follow up with an Incinerate, and then finish with another Ember! If Frozo ever manages to get a Rock Slide off immediately Solarbeam the rocks out of the sky!
Ember-Incinerate-Ember
If Rock Slide is used Solarbeam to disintegrate the rocks.
<DarkSlay> Yay, challenge posted!
<Engineer> anybody want to subref
<Engineer> please
<Engineer> acklow take too long
<DarkSlay> Link.
<Engineer> darkslay
<Engineer> it's the one you handed over to acklow
<DarkSlay> lol
<Engineer> do you want to ref it again
<Engineer> it's slightly more interesting now.
<DarkSlay> Yeah, might as well.
Hello, it is me again! I have been asked to sub-ref this match...that I asked to be sub-reffed...on account of inactivity. No worries, though: I am on Easter break and will have plenty of time to update this!
Expect a new post sometime tomorrow. I need to think over this round for at least an hour or two.
Never fear: the original DarkSlay is here, back reffing this battle once again! Looks like things have definitely changed since my last reffing, but I should be able to get back to business (with this somewhat difficult round to referee).
Frozo starts the match by skittering around to gather some rocks, and throws a Rock Slide at Equinox! Equinox quickly reacts to this attack and fires off a quick Solar Beam to weaken the attack! The beam flies towards Syclar and the rocks being thrown. The rocks crumble and shrink, but still hit their target for great damage (from 8 damage to 5). The remnants of the rocks fly right back down to their origin and hit Syclar for good damage!
Frozo then starts jumping up and down, creating seisimc activity from under the ground. The Earth rises and shows Equinox its Power! This hits for good damage. Equinox responds with a strong Incinerate, which flies right at Frozo and hits for massive damage!
We once again see Frozo gathering some rocks, which are thrown again as a Rock Slide right at Equinox! Once again, Equinox fires a Solar Beam to break up the rocks, which hits Equinox for great damage and the remnants fly at Syclar for good damage!
Frozo smiles heartily as it prepares one final attack...but its trainer issues it to Leer? Frozo looks at its owner with confusion, and reluctantly gazes upon Equinox with scary red eyes. Equinox's defense is lowered by one stage! Equinox, also confused, takes the opportunity to use Incinerate, who winces in pain at this attack that never should have happened.
Frozo finally sighs in relief, and starts gathering energy for the KO...but his trainer commands a Leer again. Frozo turns around at its trainer and sheds a tear, knowing that his trainer is sending him to a painful ending to his battling. With a scary, but sad, face, Equinox's defense is lowered by one stage! Equinox this time feels sympathy towards Frozo, knowing that it's sacrificing itself for its trainer. He tries to back away from Frozo, but his trainer orders the final blow. With great regret, he fires off one last Incinerate, crippling Frozo into a small ball. Smoldering on the ground, in pain.
