Battle Subway Single Supers Team - Whimsi SMASH!

This is the team I plan to breed for the Battle Subway...anyone see any glaring flaws?

Whimsicott @ Light Clay (Might Focus Sash)
Ability: Prankster
Nature: Timid
EV's: 252 HP, 126 in both defenses, 4 leftover can go anywhere I recon.
- Light Screen
- Taunt
- Memento
- Leech Seed

Whimsicott would be the lead of the team. His job is simple, set up Light Screen, if given the chance Taunt/Leech Seed, and then Memento, paving the way for my sweeper...

Cloyster @ Focus Sash
Ability: Skill Link
Nature: Hasty
EV's: 252 ATK, 252 Speed, 4 SP ATK
- Shell Smash
- Icicle Spear
- Rock Blast
- Surf

I'm not too sure about the nature I should shoot for. He has the defenses to take a blow and Whimsicott SHOULD have gotten up Light Screen. After Shell Smash, if I've done my calculations right and the Battle Subway info about 252 being the fastest speed stat is correct, then Cloyster should be able to outpace the entire tower after just one Shell Smash. Icicle Spear makes short work of any Sturdy users, though I'm a bit squeamish about the Steel types that have it.
Might replace Surf with Dive and go for Jolly...its not like the AI is smart enough to Sub/Protect on the telegraph anyway.

Electivire @ Expert Belt
Ability: Motor Drive
Nature: Adamant
EV's: 252 ATK, 252 Speed, 4 HP
- Thunderpunch (Or Wild Volt?)
- Fire Punch
- Earthquake
- Cross Chop

OR

Golurk @ Leftovers
Ability: Iron Fist
Nature: Adamant
EV's: 252 HP, 252 ATK, 4 SP DEF
- Earthquake
- Shadow Punch
- Hammer Arm
- Stone Edge

The last slot is up for grabs...need something to counter Electrics, and had a Fighting Weakness. While Golurk covers the weaknesses better, he kinda lacks the attacking prowess + speed tandem. This slot is open for suggestions.

THREATS:
Anything Electric. It's simple really...if I can't Shell Smash before their Electrics are gone, then even at a virtual -3 SP ATK, their TBolts are still gonna hurt.
By that extent, Grassers and such arent appreciated either.
Status moves. Does one think I should go for Taunt on Whimsi to guarantee Cloyster the Smash without getting Statusd? - Taunt added

So yah, any input is highly appreciated.

Just an idea and certainly not a flawless solution, but why not replace the white herb on cloyster with a focus sash to reduce the threat posed by critical hit hax or lucky OHKO moves while you set up? Priority users and quick claw hax could be annoying but it's better than being KOd by a random attack on the turn you set up.

As far as electrics go, I've been having a decent amount of success with Electivire, standard 4th gen Physical Attacker set up. The AI has yet to show the brains to predict a switch from water type to Electivire when they have an electric attack available. After a boost from Motor Drive, it's fast and can make use of the fact it has better coverage than Krookodile thanks to not being choiced, including EQ for electrics, and will likely stand a good chance softening up the other team ready for Cloyster. Also unlike Krook, it also doesn't share Cloyster's grass and fighting weaknesses, though to be fair probably wouldn't survive most of the latter.

If safeguard's purpose is to stop cloyster getting statused, I'd personally run Taunt over it to both stop that happening and stop the opposing poke setting up or using an irritating move like Featherdance on you (yeah, it happens).

But yeah, the team's fairly sound overall, it's the inevitable critical hit bringing down your cloyster before it finishes setting up that's going to get it.

Your team has a really major weakness: Double fighting weaknesses. A bunch of your opponents carry brick break (which gets rid of screens and hurts your team really bad). Another problem the team has is its inability to counter accuracy/evasion abusers such as Emolga.

I honestly suggest Golurk for your team instead of Krookodile. He evens out your team's weaknesses a lot better (no more double fighting weakness, retains the electric immunity) as well as having a lot of great benefits such as Shadow Punch (Seriously. It hits Double Team abusers like Emolga every time, plus is boosted by Iron Fist) and Earthquake. His Dream World ability is No Guard, which he gets Dynamic Punch to help abuse, and also allows him to be a really effective counter against evasion abusers in general, not just in one move.

maybe something like

Golurk 252 HP 252 ATT 4 DEF @Whatever the hell item Adamant Nature
Ability: Iron Fist
Earthquake
Shadow Punch
Hammer Arm
Stone Edge

Hmm, Golurk and Electivire both sound like highly interesting options, I should look into both of them. As far as Golurk goes, with his DW ability being unreleased No Guard isn't an option, I think I'll have to stick with Iron Fist...shame he's so slow though. Also he can't really hit fighters hard in return...I'll have to test both of them, I recon.
Taunt and Focus Sash are great suggestions, thanks Eon :)

Not bad. If your going for the Battle Subway, I say take taunt out and put in Substitute. It's not like your opponents are going for a Sub+Seed cobo, or SubPunch combo. Anyways, most of the moves that should be taunted are Status-inflicting moves, which are taken care of by the Sub and when you set up LS, you get more HP for your Whimsicott.

I have my own FluffBall..

Cottonee (DerpPuff) @Eviolite
252 Def, 252 Hp, 4 Sp.Def
Bold
-Cotton Guard
-Substitute
-Leech Seed
-Giga Drain

Mainly for Battle Subway. Can't evolve him yet, cuz I use both of the Sun Stones you get in-game, waiting for my brother to trade me a poke holding one. Eviolite works very well though. Only problem, Special Attackers. Light Screen for Giga Drain for sure.

Also, I like your sig. But Moody is an ability that raise a stat +2 EACH TURN. Banned.

3. Have some actual words in your post beyond your six Pokemon and their moves. Not following this makes your post quite boring to read and rate. All Pokemon should have a good reason for being in your team anyway, so why not post that reason? If you are having trouble with this one, start by giving an explanation for each team member. Why are they there? What role do they serve? How do you get them in? Then, give an explanation of how you would open with the team and how you would go about using it. All of these things help people rate your team and allow us to offer more helpful advice.
You need to expand on some of your descriptions. PM me with the updates and I'll unlock your thread.
