Signups Battle Tower Thread - Mk.VI

I have some shopping to do, and I have some testing to do, so let's check both boxes at once:

b3/1p1 Level 3 Singles
Backpack: 0
All other rules standard.
Arena: Applause Arena
  • Only Pokemon knowing Encore can be sent.
  • Encore does this:
The user gives their opponent an enthusiastic round of applause.

(If any target's most recently attempted action this round isn't a non-combination move, or if any target hasn't acted this round, this move can't execute.)

This non-combination move bypasses Decoys.

Inflict a unique status on the defender, noting both the current step number and that defender's most recently-attempted action this round, with the following effects:
● If the subject would attempt an action during the noted step number, except the step this condition was created; instead, discard this condition and the subject attempts the noted action.

You send one Pokemon (that knows Encore). You get first send (automatically) and second order in the first round.
I'll send these three Pokemon, taking second send and first order:

★★★ ⭒ Level 3 — EXP: 00 / 10
Name Etymology:
A feminine given name associated with film and fame, rising to popularity in the early 1900's after several consecutive movies featured either lead actresses or main characters of the name.

Attitude and Motive:
Star of her own little show. Insistent on sharing the splendor that is herself with the whole joyous, adoring world.

Background:
Hatched from an egg some couple of years before her trainer first began battling competitively. In those early years, she was always difficult to pry from the television. She wasn't evolved enough to participate in the early circuits in those early years, but she never missed any match of her trainer that was broadcast. Eventually, she was able to take the stage herself, and she intends to keep it light and bright with her presence for as long as she is able.

:sv/iron valiant:
Dark Forest (Iron Valiant)
★★★ ⭒ Level 3 — EXP: 00 / 10
Name Etymology:
A model that attempts to explain the Fermi Paradox, or the lack of apparent extraterrestrial intelligent life, by postuating that attempts to contact alien life are foolish and inherently deadly. The theory holds that any intelligent life is keeping quiet to avoid inevitable predation and destruction.

Attitude and Motive:
Pleasant and conversationable, as if by rehearsal.

Background:
A machine lifeform that emerged from Area Zero. Dark Forest is an astonishing triumph of future technology; displaying humanlike mannerisms, impressive physical ability, and ever-expanding intellect. When asked, they categorically deny their own sapience, citing that personhood "seems to be too much work to bother with."

They have a palpable distate for Janus and Juno, calling them "unintended" and "accidental", to contrast their own intential design.

Mild nature ( +Special Attack, -Defense )

Fusion Battle

B5P3 Singles
Level: Challenger's Choice
Backpack Size: 12
Substitution Count: Default (depends on level)

Arena: That One Evil Team Laboratory Where They Do All The Experiments
You already know what's going on down here.

Camouflage: Typeless | Nature Power: Aurora Veil | Secret Power: The user fuses with a random fully-evolved Pokemon.

- At Team Preview, each Pokemon fuses with a randomly chosen fully-evolved Pokemon. (This is done with /randpoke fe, !weak normal|cap on PS.)
- The species of the initially sent Pokemon is the "original species", and the species of any Pokemon they fuse with are "added species".
  • A fused Pokemon has each species name of their component species. Raichu/Electivire is Raichu and is Electivire.
  • A fused Pokemon has each primary type of their component species. For instance, Machamp/Gyarados is Fighting/Water type.
  • A fused Pokemon has each ability of their component species, which includes Hidden Abilities if the battle is Level 2 or higher.
  • A fused Pokemon has each trait of their original species. Additionally, they have each trait of their added species which does not mention Technique Control.
  • A fused Pokemon has stat values equal to the average of all their component species, rounded up. For example, Mightyena/Dustox (85/7/5/5/5/70, 85/4/5/4/7/65) would have stats of 85/6/5/5/6/68.
  • A fused Pokemon has the nature of their originally sent Pokemon. Nature is added after the stat calculation above.
  • Components of fused Pokemon may change forme as normal. Aromatisse/Aegislash may transform into Aromatisse/Aegislash-Blade with Stance Change, for example.
  • A fused Pokemon has the movepool of their original species, and the Level 0 movepool of all their added species. For example, a Level 2 Copperajah/Blaziken/Granbull would have Copperajah's Level 2 movepool (as sent in to the ref), and Blaziken and Granbull's Level 0 movepool. (The entire movepool will be displayed in one hide tag.)
  • Every time a Pokemon leaves play, if they do not have Fainting, they fuse with an additional randomly chosen fully-evolved Pokemon. This may result in fusions of three or more Pokemon. (For situations where the max HP of the Pokemon changes, check the Handbook.)
  • I will make the sprites.
