The Dojo is back!
I believe Novax and Doduodrio expressed interest

The Blazing Dojo
A dojo is accepting new students. Here pupils will learn through practice, under the watchful eye of sensei Helios.

  • Rules are B3P2, level 4, half start on, 7 items, surely I can just say "standard" for the rest
  • After the ref has resolved a round there is a commentor phase where I (Helios) give commentary on the previous round. Did anyone do any cool strategies, are there better ways players could achieve their goals with their subs, etc.

Rewards:
Completion: +2tc, +2 rc to the ref.
Victory: +3tc, +3rc for the victorious player.

  • Match Type - b6p3 Singles
  • Player Hours - 72 Round, 72 Battle
  • Referee Hours - 72 Round, 120 Battle
  • Species Restriction - On
  • Battle Level - 4
  • Substitution Count - 4
  • Switching - On
  • Ability Count - All
  • Advanced Techniques - All
  • Technique Control - 3
  • Backpack Size - 10
  • Arena - The Open Dojo
    • After the referee posts the round, Round Hours will not begin counting. Instead, there will be a 48-hour window for any observer (including the battlers and referee) to offer commentary, evaluate strategy, give advice, etc. After this 48-hour window, the Round Hours will begin counting down as usual. (It's like the Blazing Dojo but a community effort instead of just a Helios effort.)
    • The goal is practicing and improving. There are no victory rewards at stake. The battle format is to reflect a typical circuit environment, so battlers are encouraged to send teams the same way they would for a circuit match.
