Withdrawing my FFTA Arena battle and reposting it with some updates! (Solosis, you can rejoin the battle if you'd like.)

Ivalice
A hot desert country inhabited by many fantastical creatures. The esteemed judges of the land ride about on their Chocobo steeds, watching over engagements, to enforce the laws of the day. They are defenders of justice and will imprison any and all unruly lawbreakers.
  • At the start of the battle and at the end of each round, two new Laws are chosen (no repeats from last round).
  • Trainers earn Judge Points (JP) for obeying the Law (max 3).
    • When a Pokémon obeys the Law, their Trainer gains 1 JP.
    • When a Pokémon breaks the Law, their Trainer loses all of their JP.
  • At the end of each round, each team will be judged:
    • If a Trainer broke the Law, they receive 1 random Penalty. Also, if the Trainer broke the Law last round, their active Pokémon faints.
    • If a Trainer did not obey the Law this round, they lose 1 JP. If the Trainer now has -3 JP, they lose the battle.
  • When ordering, a Trainer with may spend JP to do one of the following:
    • 2 JP: Order any extant move as if it was known
    • 2 JP: Order one of their known Combos without paying Tech (indicate with "(JP)")
    • 3 JP: Mega Evolve (if possible), Terastalize, or Dynamax
    • 3 JP: Gain a Z-Power if they don't already have one
    • 3 JP: One of the above, without paying any costs and ignoring all restrictions
    • 2 JP: Steal 1 JP from the opponent
  • Secret Power may grant 1 JP.
